Horrible experience..Rude comments to me...Will never see him again

I have been seeing Dr. Grotke for many years (10 plus). I'm surprised to read some of these negative reviews. Dr. Grotke has always been respectful, caring and professional. He has always listened and seems to be very thorough. I think he's great!

this so called Dr has no bedside manner or any type of reguards for the elderly..He would rather push then on to someone else.. my father kept telling him he did not feel good {chest hurt. dizzy}. this Dr took test and told him he was stable.Really..so long story short my dad pasted in Janurary due to phnemonia, ,miss diagnoised ..also this dr will not listen to you .. so i recommend becareful do your research..This dr is not good,,,

Dr. grotke is the worst experience I have felt when being seen by a doctor.

Dr. Hal L. Grotke seems reluctant to touch the patient as if he finds it repugnant. He also seemed nervous and instead of engaging the patient he kept looking at me as I sat nearby while he inspected the patient.

I believe that this man is going to hurt someone someday. He does not listen to what you say and therefore misdiagnoses and prescribes.

Spends his entire time looking at his laptop computer. Doesn't listen very well, let alone look at you. Seems to take pleasure in denying requested medications.

I liked the doctor right away. He's very personable, friendly, spoke of options, and was prompt.

I have been going to Dr. Grotke for about 4 years and have found him very caring and capable. If he doesn't know somethiing, he refers appropriately. He aways takes time to hear me out and does not push medications. Far from it. He has helped me eliminate some as not needed.

The one sure thing is people know if there is something wrong with their body. It shouldn't be the patient's job to figure that out. Dr. Grotke should be very careful commenting on other doctor's diagnosis (who are WAY more specialized). This doctor pushes prescription drugs to mask overlaying problems. In addition, he has a problem keeping eye to eye contact. Instead those eyes are where they shouldn't be on a female patient. Who can trust a doctor who isn't healthy himself?
