Dr. Hanh Hieu La, MD

Best doctor in Carmichael with excellent knowledge.

Dr. La is knowledgeable, compassionate, responsive, and assuring. She spent a lot of time with me patiently answering all my questions.

Dr. La is an exceptional oncologist. Not only is she current in research, but she respects the patient's choice in treatment plans. She helped me get through the most difficult part of my diagnosis by helping explain the processes and what to expect. She returns phone calls and is on top of referrals. She is proactive in managing care. She really listens and offers encouragement. She is a younger doctor and I would trust her with any of my loved ones to manage their care. I have recommend her several times to others diagnosed with breast cancer. Too bad she is moving out of the area, otherwise I would want her to remain my oncologist for life.

This doctor did not know my father’s condition, or medication issues, despite multiple visits to her office. She refused to be honest about his condition. She refused to advocate for hospice, which he needed. Absolutely avoid this pseudo doctor.
