I LIKED HIM VERY MUCH.

Staff is lazy and not much help at all

Gave wrong diagnosis and was rude to his own staff. Get a second opinion when dealing with doctors who don't care about symptoms.

Dr Meattey has produced results with me. I would recommend him to anyone who needs an endocrinologist.

Regretfully, I can not recommend this doctor. Those that have options in life simply need not put up with ineptitude and/or attitude. The majority of healthcare providers seem content with, as well as, suited to the demands of their professional life; Dr. Meattey is not among them. Perhaps one day Dr. Meattey will develop the introspection and professionalism necessary to recognize how unnecessarily obnoxious he presents himself to patients, some of whom have accomplished far more in life than he likely ever will.

I appreciate Dr. Meatty's agressive approach to lowering my sugar and getting me healthy. I don't like to take lots of medicine and he told me like it is. I am on meds,but I am eating healthy and I am going to reverse my diabetes! Dr. Meatty's approach has helped me see how important that is!

Dr. Meattey always listens carefully to my symptoms first and then discusses the lab reports. He is kind and genuinely interested in not only my health, but in me as a person. I have always been taken in at my appointment time and his office staff is very patient and professional if I've ever had to reschedule.

Amazing that this caliber of medical care is available locally. Others gave me vague diagnoses, but Dr. Meattey took the time (4 appointments) to nail what was wrong with me. He is a true doctor, one who blends science and caring. He might not seem warm and fuzzy but he is such a high-integrity physician! And he definitely expects the patient to participate in the process. And yes, he really is nice when you get to know him. He solved my issues and I don't need to go back now-- he doesn't believe in wasting the patient's time with follow-up visits that have no purpose. He is a gem!

I started with this practice after transferring from Nashua. I started in Salem, then that Dr left, then to another female Dr, she was great, then left, then this gentlman. I even referred a few people to him, thinking he was "OK" and I could live with the lack of bedside manner, the over confidence and god like presence. I have since left the practice after many years and have never been treated so rudely. I was questioned as being an expert well my answer was YES-about my own body-Absolutely. We certainly didnt see eye to eye and after numerous years within the practice I never had such issues with any of the prior physicians. Leaves me to wonder.

Worst doctor ever. Doesn't know much, doesn't know how to prescribe medications. Doesn't listen and doesn't care about his patients. Would never recommend him.

Gave me all the time i needed, knows his specialty, caring! Not sure why other raters give lower marks but I think he is a good DR.
