Dr. Hector Chernov Caballero, MD

I’ve had chronic migraine’s for years. Seen many doctors, who didn’t care to listen or help. Dr. C knew which migraine meds were dangerous for me to take and which ones would work. I’m a new person after years of agony. This man is like no other neurologist, he’s kind, patient and willing to help. The only suggestion I have is that AETNA would add them to their network so I wouldn’t have to pay a copay each time, but he’s worth the money!

Excellent care. Haven’t had a headache in about nine months and was able to get off four medication by increasing dosage of other medication.

Dr. Caballero has reduced the frequency of one of my husband's meds and stopped one completely. We are very pleased with his care and highly recommend him. Our concern last year over a billing problem was resolved with the help of our insurance company and we received our refund.

I have been seeing Dr. Caballero for 15 years for migraines. His office moved an hour away and I was willing to drive the hour to keep him as my neurologist. He listens and tries to find the best way to help and doesn't stop until he finds a treatment. I highly recommend him.

I feel this man is dangerous. He denies having insurance coverage so I want that private pay when I have Medicare Medicaid he sells diet pills at the front counter there is no nurse in the office only receptionist who helps with medical procedures. If you call back to get help no one will answer you no one will call you back. You call the office to leave a message message porch or always full something is not right

They over charged me for a test by 170 dollars, this isnt a problem and happens plenty. Normally a doctors office will just cut a check before we even know its happend. We have been chasing this down for over three months. Everytime time we have called we have been told they are not in the office to help. We have left countless messages. Only after we left a google review did they reach out to us We finally got a call back and they agreed they owed us the money and said they refund if we could give them the card number then placed my husband on hold for over 30 minutes. He hung and called back and was told they couldnt do it to day it would have to be tomorrow. It is the most unprofessional doctors office I have ever been to.

Very knowledgeable explain disease and condition you can understand

I was referred to Dr. Caballero by my cardiologist. I have seen him a few times and had a few tests run. I will continue to be monitored by him. He is professional and spends enough time with you. I would recommend him if you are having neurological issues.

Dr. Caballero figured out how to stop the migraines. I went to different doctors for several years and he is the only one that helped me.

Dr caballero took the time to review my husbands test, going the extra step to show us the exams and walk through all the details until we were comfortable with the explanations

I have been treated my Dr. Caballero for over 10 years. Each time he moves to a different building, I am willing to go where he is. My personal chauffeur, my husband, doesn't mind driving me no matter how far because he knows how great Dr. Caballero is as a doctor. He is very caring and attentive. He takes the time to listen and has my best interest at hand.

I visited Dr. Caballero's office for the first time due to a lower back and sciatic pain that he accurately diagnosed as a herniated disc before seen the MRI image. The treatment was very effective too. Although he clearly warned me not to do stupid things such as lifting heavy weights, I didn’t listened and got hurt again. I arrived to his office a second time in a big pain and limping. With a couple of injections I left his office walking normally and so far the treatment he prescribed is working very effectively. Dr. Caballero friendly care and attention, as well as that of his office personnel is excellent. I strongly recommend this doctor.

Great Doctor but sometimes I have to ask him to slow down when talking so I can understand his accent.

Dr. Caballero has been able to get my husband on a lower dose of his medication by increasing another medication with less side effects. We would highly recommend him.

I had a car accident and Dr Caballero was extremely helpful, understanding thru this difficult time and very professional. He helped us and guided us when we had no idea what to do next and made us feel that our questions and concerns were important. His treatment was very excellent and I started to feel better faster than I expected. Highly recommended his staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very knowledgeable and personable. Very thorough with diagnosis. I would recommend this doctor for those needing a neurologist, and especially one with such an extensive knowledge of headaches. Was able to see my wife today with 90 minutes notice when told of the seriousness of her 3 day headache which had sent her to the hospital last night. Did not rush even though he had a busy schedule.

This Dr is very thorough and he actually cares about his patients. He was able to diagnos what other Doc's had not been able to figure out. The wait time is long; however, he takes up a lot of time with each patient. I had rather wait than to be just a number, or feel that he doesnt care or understand. If the medication he prescribes you doesnt help, or you find out you can not tolerate it, just tell him. I have severe drug allergies and he understood this and was very careful in prescribing. I believe him to have all of his patients best interest at heart. Thank you God for leading me to this man. My conditions are vast, and I needed kindess, understanding, and the correct diagnosis. I got all of that. The staff are very nice and helpful. Everyone has a pleasant attitude, and these days the staff members of most docs are less than professional. This man and his staff are exceptional. I only wish I had been seen by him two years ago. Also-i wanted to point out that he doesnt discriminate against anyone, whether you are in pain management, disabled, etc. just be ad honest as you possibly can.

I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT FOR 18+ MONTHS AND HAVE BEEN HELPED IMMENSELY. AT FIRST, I WAS LEARY, BUT DR. HECTOR AND HIS STAFF HAVE HELPED ME REGAIN MY LIFE. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING.
