I have had such a great experience from the start. Always is compassionate and caring about my well being and health of my baby! Waiting is worth it!

I love Dr. Etamadi. She's been so kind and caring. She truly is a compassionate woman. She took me at 8 months pregnant when another doctor dumped me. I wish I would have started with her at the beginning. She gave me a VBAC and it went beautifully. Her staff isn't as professional. I do love Isabel though. I've heard Dr. Etamadi actually get angry with her staff when they weren't doing what was asked of them. I'm not sure why the staff is average but this doctor is far from it! She takes all the time you need as a patient and will talk with you about personal issues as well. She's amazing.

I've been with Dr. Etemadi for quite a long time now and she was there for both of my daughter's births (not another doctor...her). I will say that her office staff leaves something to be desired totally...I'm still waiting on a phone call back from the nurse that I left over a month ago. The Dr., on the other hand, is very personable, listens to you, and knows her stuff. She's done 2 C-sections on me, laparoscopy (which she teamed up with another Dr. who wanted to repair my hernia from the C-sections and did it all at the same time) and then finally did my hysterectomy. If it wasn't for her, I would've left this practice long ago due to the terrible office staff, but I would trust this Dr. with my life.

I met Dr. Etemadi over 18 years ago. She delivered my daughter. She has always been very professional, courteous and caring. I like the fact that she is straight to the point. No messing around. Would not go any where else.

I had a bad experience with office staff - Doctor herself was great. The nurse practitioner awesome, the ultrasound tech (part-time) was really awesome. Went in for surgery - laparoscopic, Tubal ligation, dnc, and ablasion - was very very nervous and after reading reviews - I vowed to write one myself people claimed Dr. Etamadi was a hack and all sorts of bad stuff. Well i went into surgery at 10 am only days after i made the appointment. The surgery was promptly on time, they wheeled me into surgery room and that was the last i remembered. She went thru my belly button and it looked like about 1 inch incision right on my pubic hairline ... when i saw it, i was amazed and impressed. I bled for about 3 weeks and now 4 months later other than 1-day of a spotting ... period -and more importantly- pain-free!!! The checkup went great, the results was minor cysts and i am now relieved - I am grateful, the scar is about the size of a pen mark less than 1/2 inch in length ... amazing!!! Great procedure from a true professional that was straight to the point and got it all fixed - Thankfully!!

I'm not sure what others are talking about in some of these negative posts. I have been seeing Dr Etemadi for about five years now, she has treated me for endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and two pregnancies now. She has always spent a lot of time in the exam room and has taken my conditions and pregnancy issues very seriously. Sometimes there is a long wait in the waiting room, but I think having a doc that takes time with you is worth waiting for.

Dr. Etamadi was my doctor for 9 years. I have a number of health issues that I feel were never addressed . Instead of recommending to someone else she had her office staff tell me I could no longer see the Dr. I feel the staff is very unprofessional and the wait times are unacceptable. Dr. Etamadi seems only concerned with money and packing her office but does not want to treat people and help them with the real issues.

I called last week to schedule an appointment for my annual exam. The receptionist who scheduled the appointment made it for 12pm the following Tuesday. I took time off of work to go to my appointment. When I got there, the woman at the desk told me that my appointment was at 11:40 and that because "I was late" I had to reschedule. It was their mistake, because I am 100% positive that she told me my appt was at noon. She also had the audacity to tell me that other people were waiting for their scheduled appointments at 12:00 and that basically it was my fault that they screwed up. I am never going back to that office again. When you can't even find out where the miscommuication was, and apologize for inconveniencing me, you do not deserve my business. I will be going back to Dr. Engler's office, where the staff is professional and courteous.

I have always waited 30+ minutes here. Sometimes more. I always have to remind them of my issues (fibroids & pcos). Even though I have been going over 8 years I have finally decided to stop being lazy and look for another doctor!

Dr. Etemadi is very professional, knowledgable and caring. No complaints about her, but her office staff (receptionist) is rude and unprofessional. I understand she probably deals with all types of people all day, but really that's your JOB! I've been with Dr. E for 10 years and I'd really hate to go elsewhere but it's difficult being treated poorly when there are options to go any where else and receive all around good care. Dr. E really needs to do something before it's too late! I know other people who go to her office and complain about the same thing. So sad that such a great doctor is going to lose patients because of a rude receptionist.

When reading some of the ratings in can't believe they are talking about the same office or doctor. I love love love Dr.E and Isabel. Never heard anyone being disrespectful or going on a rant. The wait time can be long if you don't have an early appointment,but it's only because they're all great and because of that they have many patients! I recommend her to my family and friends.

She is one of my favorite doctors. Always prompt and polite. Her office staff is composed of great response to appointment timings of my choice and impeccable hospitality. Visiting her office for my appointments is a joy and I most definitely recommend Dr. Helen Etemadi to my friends and family. Thank you.

I have used Dr. Etemadi for both of my childrens' deliveries. She was excellent for both of them. With my daughter, when I showed up at the hospital (thinking my water had broken), my baby's heartrate was VERY high and the on call doctor's were threatening c-section. Once she arrived, she came over to my bed, shooed all the other drs and nurses away, and held my hand, calming me down. I went on to deliver my daughter a couple hours later. She is wonderful.

The doctor is great, but they clearly don't know how to run an office. I talked to a few of my friends who see Dr. Ettemadi and we are all switching. I called to say I was running late so I could take my daughter home from school, they told me I would have to reschedule. So I took my child with me, and we waited in the jam packed lobby for an hour and a half. Every time I go it is like this. In addition, it is all of her family working in the office, so they treat you how ever they want. Very poor service and I won't be back. The walls are paper thin as well.

great but could use some improvement, but who and what couldn't use the improvement!! they could be a little more informative about ultrasounds, but you could always ask and they could be a little more consistant with the same doc but if she isgonna deliver babies some one has to do it, you can't just close down!! everything they could improve on is perfectly excused, there are real reason's behind their flaws!

Waste of time. When I was trying to follow up on an issue I was told "this is costing you money". When I was weeks away from my due date I showed up and her office was sealed and there was a sign on the door to call another doctor, was never told what happened. I was not contacted by anyone. I sought my own doctor at 39 weeks.

She is crazy and needs to retire!!!! How does a Doctor loose it in the middle of patients , her screaming and ranting spells in the middle of office hours is unacceptable. Her husband that walks around that office while women are there is unproffesional. A simple procedure I had done almost ended me up in the emergency room!!!!! and then felt as if I was a bother for coming back and needing follow up. I have spoke to many patients who have had the same problem she is not a surgeon she is a hack job to women. DONT GO TO THIS DOCTOR when there are so many GOOD doctors out there. An advice to her ...RETIRE!!!!!

Dr. Etemadi is wonderful, caring and professional! Her office staff and billing department are just the opposite. It is very difficult to get a person in the phone, usually get a voicemail, and must call numerous times to get a returned phone call. This is very upsetting when needing a medication refill that has been ordered by the Dr. but can't get her nurse to call it in. Absolutely love the Doctor and N.P. but will not will returning due to the unprofessionalism of office staff.
