Dr. Helen Torok

Trillium Creek Dermatology in Medina called the police on me yesterday when I came in asking to speak to Dr. Helen Torok personally. They did not call me personally, initially, to inform me of a biopsy returning with a rare cancer diagnosis. They sent out an unsigned form letter instead that I received 7/2. Dr. Torok insisted that I was called....told me four times that I was called and given the results, but I was NOT. I went in to pick up my pathology report and records after speaking to her on the phone briefly yesterday morning. I simply wanted to show her my phone and my Verizon record that shows NO incoming phone calls from Trillium Creek. All I was looking for was an acknowlegement that their office may have made a mistake and possibly might apologize for it. ?Both Dr. Helen Torok and the office manager Aaron Funk refused to come out and/or see me and when I told them I would wait or book an office visit and pay to speak to them I was told the police would be called if I didn’t immediately leave. Then they sent the receptionist back out to tell me that I should be ashamed of myself for wasting the police department’s time. Three Montville police cars arrive, they talk to her in the back office and the officer came out and said “They’re not coming out, and I’m so sorry that this has happened to you”

I went to see the doctor to determine if I should be concerned about some moles that dried and flaked skin. After waiting an hour, I was told that it could be another hour to see the doctor, however I could have a nurse something-or-other look at me instead. I chose that because I didn't want to wait any longer. I was looked at and told the moles were benign. The nurse encouraged me to have them removed, which I agreed to, but wondered why they would remove a benign mole. I later figured it out. They made money by removing them. Bottom line: I consider her practice to be a bait-and-switch operation. I believe she overbooks and gives the overflow to her subordinates. It was a very unhappy experience.

I do not trust this doctor with my health. She is not interested in helping a patient with skin problems...She appears only interested in a patient who wants botox, cosmetic help or who wants to buy her spa products.

In all honesty, I could care less how nice or not nice the office staff is, it is the doctor that matters for me. Dr. Torok diagnised, used the Moh's method for my skin cancer and all was gone.

Great doc. Has a huge client base and the office is always busy. She does a good job of spending time with people and is very aggressive with her treatments - she wants to fix your problem as soon as she can. I would highly recommend her - just know that you might be at her office for a while.

Dr. Torok is brilliant, kind & caring; her office and staff outstanding. Not only did she seamlessly diagnose & treat my dermatologic conditions that have degraded my life for over 10 years, she correlated them to systemic health issues and sent that information, with treatment suggestions, to the doctor involved. I am truly amazed by her and incredibly grateful!

I have been to Dr. Helen Torok a couple times in the past year. Reading some of the reviews, I was concerned but decided to try her anyway. I only waited about 10 minutes in the lobby. The staff was friendly. I liked Dr. Torok. She answered all my questions and I was happy they could perform the minor procedure during the visit. I have been other places and you have to make another appointment to come in to have any work done. That meant more time out of my schedule and another co-pay! Yes, she works fast and I was in and out quickly, but she did take the time to explain and answer questions. My husband decided to see her also, and he was pleased. It's great not to have to wait weeks or months to get in!

Rushed . Does not describe procedures well, just says all are great . Sorry one procedure does not fit all.

This woman needs her license revoked STAT!!! She performs procedures without verbal and written consent. Her staff are incredibly rude. I have no idea how her wait time is so long considering she spends about 5 minutes with each patient. Forget this place. Don't waste your time here.

Terrible front office staff, very rude and discourteous. You will be sure to wait when you come, it doesn't matter what your appointment time, if you arrive early, or on time. The doctor spends about 30seconds to 1 min with you. And don't tell them what you think of their office, they will discharge you within a minute.

My entire family and I have seen Dr Torok for many years for a number of skin issues. I have no idea why we continued to give this arrogant woman our hard earned money. She literally has the worst bedside manner of ANY doctor I've seen in my 45 years of life. This office is an assembly line, reminiscent of cattle being quickly led through a slaughter house. Its not a surprise her spa failed miserably. I can't begin to image how unrelaxed her clients must have been in a spa atmosphere. Confidence is admirable, but arrogance and pushiness with your patients is not acceptable. This woman is a piece of work.

DR Torok Knows her stuffâ?¦ Things I would think would be benign she spots right away and has it taken care of. She is very efficient and so you are in and out in no time with an accurate assessment.

Beautiful office building, thought I was in for a good experience. Enquired on check in if the Dr. was running on-time and advised she was. The receptionist was pleasant. Waited 45 minures past my appointment time to be seen. Enter Zsa Zsa Gabor with collagen lips and botox - Dr Torok! Abruptly told me that freckles were not cute, in fact it's sun damage, stated I had severe damage. Did a quick procedure and then told me what I needed and left the room. I was then ushered into the botique to purchase expensive skin products not covered by insurance. Would not recommend this practice, had a much better and more thorough experience at the Cleveland Clinic. Seems like this business is all about the money!

This dr does procedures without permission. She is rude and does not respect anyone. Rushes thru to get to each visit. The staff is also rude. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!!!!

I had a crack at the corner of my mouht. She was quick to diagnose it as herpes. I am a nurse and recently found out it is Angular Cheilitis not herpes. Thanks Dr. Torok for putting Herpes on my medical record for nothing!! Would not recommend her. She also did an expensive procedure on my face and weeks later you couldnt even tell. Waste of money!

She ripped a wart off of my daughters hand with no local and no bedside manner would NEVER EVER EVER go back stay away

What a wonderful expensive office in a new building.We where promptly and ushered into one of the many numbered exam rooms.We where prepped by an assistant before the 'tech' came into examine the issue where came to see the Dr regarding. The Dr only spent about one minute with us and told the tech she agreed and to go ahead. At not time did Dr T. consult with us on her opinion and options for a procedure. Very unprofessional! The Tech rushed into a procedure with a knife while only cleaning the area with rubbing alcohol and use NON Sterilized Kleenex tissue instead of sterile medical gauze. Nothing was used to numb the area nor was there any antibacterial or anti inflammatory used to protect the incision afterwards. Only a Bandaid was given.Bedside manner was horrible for the tech and absent from Dr. T.For only several Hundred dollars don't expect to have any time with the Dr but you should be pushed out in about 15 minutes.This experience really made us feel like where were cattle in a slaughter house.Maybe if they business spent more time concerned about the Patients instead of the Boutique and making more profit from it service would be acceptable. But is is far from acceptable in our experience. Follow up visit? I think NOT! NEVER shall we return!Run don't walk from this butcher.
