Dr. Helge Guenther Riemann, MD

This is a dermotologist so he is very quick but professional and thorough. He is also pleasant with a nice demeanor. His office is rather austere but clean.

Great experience, caught my melanoma quickly!

After reading some of the reviews I was a little skeptical, but I was absolutely delighted by our experience. Dr. Riemann was friendly, and made sure we understood everything he was doing and saying. The staff is thoughtful and courteous. I would totally recommend him to anyone, and totally trust him with my mother's care.

Dr. Riemann is an excellent doctor. I would recommend him to friends and family.

A fastidious man and office in which I was treated both physically and mentally very well. The doctor and I discussed each treatment before he performed any procedures and the results are better than I expected with much clearer skin and removal of precancerous growths. I highly recommend Dr. Riemann to be your dermatologist.

One of the most easy, friendly, informative visits with a physician we have ever had. Dr. Riemann was engaging, excited by his work and happy to share as much information as we required in order for us to leave feeling comfortable. We have had many visits with physicians and this one would rank in the top 5! A caring wonderful man.

There are much better dermatologists than Reimann -he gives credence to the term 'practicing medicine' .... he is good about missing a diagnosis, prescribing ineffective medications and not very thorough examinations however!

I have never been to Dermatologist before. I was sent to him by my primary care physician. He already knew my medications and had talked to my primary. He did some blood work and told me what he thought the issue was. His staff was nice. His office is very boring. There are pictures hanging and it from 1972. However it could be the cleanest office I have ever been in. I felt his bedside manner was fine. He didn't act as though he was above me.

I went to see this doctor twice and I must agree with the two previous reviews. When I have a problem and I see a doctor, I would like to be taken serious. Some doctors need to be working on their bedside manners. Also, I prefer a doctor who gives me all the possible information about my skin condition and what to expect about the medication I am prescribed, what to do when it doesn't work or when the situation gets worse. My medication made the problem worse and after having been told several times by the nurse on the phone that it will always get a lot worse before it gets better, I called another doctor who advised me to stop using the medication. My skin got a lot better after following her advise. I am now seeing another dermatologist. It's a long drive from where I live but it's worth it.

I was so confident about this visit that I swore I would write a report so that other people trying hard to find the right doc would know that this guy was A-Ok. Well, that's not going to happen, and I'm tired of kicking myself for making the wrong choice. You know how it is. There's something wrong, and it looks seriously wrong, and you want to see an expert. You're frightened, with reason. You don't need to be given the feeling that they're not one tenth as concerned about the problem as you are. That your fears are just so much wind. This guy was so speedy, so unwilling to take any reasonable amount of time, or discuss what he did find, it was as if my presence was a complete annoyance. (I saw he had plenty of time to shoot the breeze with a non-patient, following my visit). This doc, the expert, could not tell me, didn't even suggest what one part of the anomaly on my skin was. Nothing. "I don't know." Well, guess, or say what it's not. And I want qualified assistants in MD offices. When I told the doc that I had been advised that he would do X, it was as if I had said the sky was made of feathers. So, then it became, do you want me to do this part of the removal? How would I know? That's why we go see these guys, right? Worse, before I made the appointment, I called and asked if he would do a certain type of procedure for the removal of a suspicious mole. I was assured that he would. No. For that, he would have to refer to a surgeon. Now, the entire reason I went there was that I believed I had received the correct information, (the directions to the place were also given wrongly), that I was seeing an expert, and that I would leave feeling confident about the diagnosis. It's the opposite, especially now that I read that a recent patient said he or she ws given the wrong diagnosis. So, the anxiety remains. This is costing more money. There's no point in filing a complaint with the Licensure Board because at this point it doesn't look like anything was done exactly "wrong," but I feel like I need to go to see another dermatologist. I should have left the second he blew into the room. But you know how it is: you're there, you're scared, and you don't trust yourself. I thought that I had gotten lucky because there was a cancellation, but I should have wondered why there was a cancellation instead. Trust yourself.

I am not an anxious person and hardly ever worry about any health issues. However, after my first visit to this dermatologist and a wrong diagnosis, I really became worried. I opted for a second opinion and visited another dermatologist. I am very happy I did. The right diagnosis and medication made my anxiety disappear. I worried all this time for nothing.

After years of illness, Dr. R diagnosed the problem. Biopsy's, blood work, and it was confirmed ! The caring, and concern of the staff is wonderful. I have told anyone, and everyone,that Dr. Riemann is the best you can get..

This was a first time visit to Dr. office and I must say a very positive one .Staff was exceptional and friendly the Dr. gave me a complete skin check and promptly relieved my anxieties. Will not hesitate going back for follow up visits

Nowadays, when the time during a visit to a specialist is spent mostly on filling out paper and electronic forms, which often seem redundant, and talking to stuff and administrative assistants, it is very comforting to have an informative long conversation with the doctor himself. During my appointment, I was not rushed along, all of my questions were answered clearly and succinctly, and I received a necessary treatment in a timely manner. Follow up appointments were easy to schedule. From the doctorâ??s impeccable bedside manners to helpful, friendly & courteous staff everything in this office made my visit productive and pleasant leaving me with a very positive outlook and a sense of confidence that I was seen by a highly skilled, experienced, and well trained professional. Dr. Riemannâ??s office deserves the highest grade.

My appointments had to be changed three times in a row to accommodate scheduling conflicts within their office. The last time, I was called three hours before my appointment and told that the office was closing that afternoon for inclement weather. But then the weather cleared. When I called the office at the originally scheduled time, I found that they were still there. When asked why they didn't call me back to say I could still come at the original time, I was told that I had already rescheduled. This is absolutely lousy customer service. I am not going back to this doctor... ever.
