Argumentative and answers her own questions. Has to be right no matter what. Isn't willing to listen and interrupts when you are talking. Also cuts you off when answering or trying to answer her questions.

Excellent care from the front desk to Dr. Mukhara

Dr. Mukhara is very reputed and is highly recommended by the therapists and Primary care doctors in the area. She saw our son and explained the treatment options very well. She also explained why she would pick this particular medication over others and gave us information on the medication. She gave us time to read about the medication and come back sooner if we were not comfortable with the option. We felt confident with her and went with her option. My child is doing very well now. I highly recommend her.

My son had selective mutism. He was not talking with anybody in school and had severe social anxiety too. Dr. Mukhara treated him and within 2 months he was socializing well and started talking again. We are very happy with the amount of progress. She is a great doctor.

Dr. Mukhara has been seeing my daughter for a long time. She has helped her through very difficult times and we are very grateful for her service. She is a very careful doctor and will not do anything that she feels is not right for the patient. She explians her treatment plan and always tries to work with family. I respect her care.

My teen's teachers and her psychologist both strongly urged me to take her to a psychiatrist for medication for anxiety and depression. It was a very negative experience. Dr. Mukhara belittled my parenting and refused to consider medication for my child even though we had been referred by a psychologist for this. My experiences with the office staff have been even more frustrating than with this psychiatrist. I cannot recommend this practice to anyone.

I have a child who is now at the Commonwealth center for children and adolescents and apparently the medication and diagnosis she had my child on were completely wrong according to the doctors there. They asked if I liked Dr. Mukhara in a way that indicated that they don't think she is a good doctor. Now I was willing to put up with her headstrong nature and refusal to accept input as long as she was correct but she was clearly not and she should probably not be a doctor at all with her poor bedside manner combined with poor ability to diagnose psychiatric problems.

My son has been seeing Dr. Mukhara for a while. Every time her recommendation is either a step up on dosage or a change to an drug with even more dangerous side effects. Never a stepdown off of a medication to see whether the reaction is positive (of course because she is in the drug industry's pocket). She gives no real time, concern, or effort to what the problem is. She is rude and arrogant and has made up her mind as to what the solution is before even hearing the issues and when you make sure she knows the behaviors are complicated or have an alternate idea she says that he needs to go to Dominion Hospital every time. That is basically admitting incompetence. This is one of the most incompetent psychiatrists I have ever met but hey somebody has to graduate last in their class from medical school right?
