Dr. Herbert Charles White, DO

Dr. White is from the old school where he spends as much time as you need, easy to tell he is listening to you, makes himself available as he can, yet is always on the forefront of his field. He is one of a kind and feel blessed if you are lucky enough to be his patient. Not only is he an outstanding Psychiatrist, but an outstanding person as well. He is a real gem and they just don't make them like him any more. I have never found any Psychiatrist that can come close to his talent, true compassion, ability to prescribe appropriate medication.

Dr. White is probably the most talented, compassionate and knowledgeable Psychiatrist in the Midwest, if not the US, that I've had the good fortune to be helped by. They just don't get any better than Dr. White. He has an excellent sense of humor, is down-to-earth, and will listen with empathy and insight. Consider yourself lucky to be or have been a patient of his. He is a gem. He has compassion, true caring, yet is always on the forefront of the latest academic research in psychiatry blending it all into phenominal care. You just don't find physicians like this anymore. A really big kind heart. Words really can't come close to describing him. (Likes dogs and horses which are sure signs that he is a person of good character). :-)
