To further delve into acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, she pursued a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) degree at Five Branches University, earning her Ph.D. in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the spring of 2021. Her doctoral dissertation, "Research and Discussion on the Protection and Control of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Prevalence of Modern Global Wars," showcases her commitment to advancing the field. In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Liu has held a National Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Certificate (NCCAOM) since the fall of 2021. Her well-rounded expertise also stems from nearly eight years of clinical practice as a doctor of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine at a prestigious hospital in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. Beyond her comprehensive knowledge, Dr. Daisy Hong Liu excels in patient communication, diving deep into traditional Chinese medicine principles to discuss individual internal balance, meridians, qi, blood, and the five elements.
