I waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes in the practice room. Finally, I complained and came an assistant (not even a physician) to visit me. He told me that being seated on a chair for several hours while working, that is not good for my prostate. That’s it. Altogether was very unprofessional. I paid for a physician and came an assistant. I saw Dr. Beck after being referred by my OBGYN for chronic UTI symptoms, incontinence and a ton of other issues. At my appointment I was charged a ridiculous amount of money up front and almost ALL of my concerns were ignored. He misdiagnosed me with a UTI that I knew I didn’t have and refused to listen to any other concerns. I recently went to a specialist in Dallas where more tests were done and i was IMMEDIATELY diagnosed with a much more serious condition. Had Dr. Beck listened to me and looked more into my symptoms, I would not have had to have surgery and treatment to the extent I do now. As someone with an extensive past with urology surgeries and issues, you would think he would have cared more. Avoid if you can!

Dr. Beck is great and takes the steps to get me health. Best doctor I've seen for my kidney issues.

He is arrogant and rude and doesn’t take time to listen-he just thinks he knows it all. If he had listened to my dad’s family history, my dad wouldn’t have had a kidney removed. All he had to do was run a couple of additional tests. He is condescending and rude.

After the loss of the kidney several doctors tried to cure the bloodstream infection. Several different central lines were placed for the long term antibiotics. Nothing worked. The infection was transmitted to the 1 kidney she has left.She has now been Stage 4 kidney failure for several years. She has. Even in bed for all the years since this happened. Her quality of life went from 10 to 3. There have been no trips to see family. Can't attend church anymore. Sleeps most of ever day. This man made a huge mistake that no one with any sense would make. Anyone knows if you blow up a large thing it becomes millions of small things. To top it off the stone which was embedded in the top of the kidney had nothing to do with the pain she was having before the surgery. It was a. Owe life problem. Don't let him operate on your loved one.

Dr. Beck is very personable and explains things in a clear and simple manner that I can understand. Wait times are minimal, unlike in most doctors' offices. Office staff and nurses are friendly and helpful. I am very pleased with the care I have received.

Not caring of patient needs.

Was in too big of a hurry to answer my questions. Acted like I was a bother by asking questions.

I left this group a couple of years ago. The front office people are the rudest I've ever seen, and the three times I went there with a suspected urinary tract infection, I never saw a doctor, only a P.A. who prescribed antibiotics that did not help. The last time I went there I was ready to go home except for them to draw blood. I waited about twenty minutes and went down the hall to see if I could do this later. The technician that was supposed to draw blood was leaning on a counter in another room, reading a newspaper. Patronage of this establishment is NOT recommended.

If you have an appointment with this doctor, please cancel it! Dr. Beck was rude, heartless, and condescending. I have had two appointments, one of which I had to wait over a month to get. At both appointments he expressed no interest in answering questions and was out of the room in less than five minutes....I kid you not. After the way I was treated I'm seriously considering filing a complaint with the BBB. Please do not see this man!!!

Put me through surgery which was not needed, and created more problems.Fired him found a new doc and able to cure problem with simple antibotics.He should be put under review.He is just in it for the money.

Dr. Beck has been my urologist for 4 years. Because my problems were difficult to diagnose, Dr. Beck continued his testing. One of the tests he needed was an MRI. Thank God for his determination. The MRI not only showed the action needed, but also an aortic anuerysm! Yes....the only urologist I will ever see is Dr. Beck. I highly recomment him.

Do's not listen,in for money not to help.

I would not recommend Dr Beck due to my experience, I am a female who was referred to Dr Beck due to incontinence issues as well as feeling constant pressure in my lower abdomen, after being examined by Dr Beck I was told that I had Cystitis, was put on antibiotics, but continued to have problems, I was brought back two different times to see his P.A and he was very rude. Not once did they do a pelvic exam, which should be routine when a female patient comes in, instead I was given different types of medications to cope with my symptoms which did not help, finally I decided to see my OB/GYN who advised me immediately that I had a prolapsed uterus and bladder. I will never see this doctor again, also I called in distress late one night and the Doctor on call, Dr Benson who is also associated with this clinic advised me that there was nothing he could do for me, end of story and hung up.

dr. beck did not wear gloves during examination of my testicles pre or post op.

Dr. Beck of Lubbock Urology Click, shame on you! What happened to your integrity? I refered a friend to you and you charge them for surgurey they did not have. You charge them for office visits where you fail to show up. You place a tube in them for the last 3 months and now you tell my friend to find another doctor. I knew you growing up. Very Disappointing!
