Dr. Yeon did his best to help me understand my back problems. Highly recommend.

I would not think twice about referring Dr Yeon to anybody, the best Dr I had ever been to, when I was told I needed surgery I was very nervous being that I had never had it in the past him and his entire staff were wonderful and eased any fear that that I was feeling. I had issues with my dissolving stitches and he actually gave me his cell number to call if I had any issues during off hours. Though he is not in my area any more, if the time ever came that I did need surgery again, I will 100% travel to know I am getting the best care I could ask for.

i went to dr yeon a few months ago for sciatica and lower back pain, he ordered an mri and explained everything to me in complete detail, he didnt sugarcoat anything at all he had explained to me all of the risks of surgery and offered me every option, i was very appreciative for all f the information and i was very impressed with the fact that he didnt push surgery on me, after going through all of steps i did have surgery on my lower back and Dr.Yeon was excellent through every step of the way, i am diabetic and did have complications and the care i received from Dr Yeon was exceptional, I couldnt be more pleased with my outcome, I am pain free because of Dr. Yeon

I just had surgery on my neck and he was very good. as for people who say he don't have a good bed side manner he answered my question so I don't know I wasn't there to make friends. Follow up its only been 5 day

Waited 3 hours,did not look at xray ,didn't care or know anything about my case. Unprofessional, condescending, arrogant.

Dr. Yeon was a godsend. I had had another fusion years ago by a prior doctor who absolutely had no clue what he was doing so I was hesitant to try again but the pain made my life unbearable. Dr. Yeon explained everything to me, reviewed the MRI with me, did not make me feel like my endless questions were a bother and his confidence instilled confidence in me that he could get the job done and get it done right. He totally changed the quality of my life and I am eternally grateful. I recommend him to everyone.

When my husband first went in, he wasn't even walking well at that point. He explained procedure, was quite thorough and professional with both of us. I felt Dr. saved his back, Procedure was very involved but successful that day.

He is to me my Life Saver and Friend and Goes Beyond his Call at The Office to care enough to take the Time to call me at Home when he feels my health ain't right. We need more Doctors who care as he cares for their patients. It takes me back to when I was young and our Family Dr would do the same. If it was not For this Man I truely would not be walking and His Asstent Jay as Well these 2 are the BEST it My eyes and I am so Honored to have Him not only as My Dr but my Friend...God Bless him and his Family.

Had my C4, C5, and C6 in my spinal column done and I feel the relief and I feel good. I thank this doctor! He is just absolutely wonderful.

Dr. Yeon is great. He diagnosed my problem right away and once I made the decision to go ahead with surgery Dr. Yeon and the entire Crystal Run facility did everything they could to accommodate my schedule for doing surgery. He is very conscientious and does everything in the best interest of the patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Howard Yeon to anyone experiencing back pain or leg pain.

I never DREAMED I'd be having back surgery! I had taken several falls over time and broke my tailbone, and not knowing, I kept complaining about my back. I lifted something the wrong way, and suddenly the pain got so severe, I had numbness/tingling in arms, back, legs and thought I was having a stroke or something- I went by ambulance to the hospital. I talked with the Dr. and my hsuband and decided injections were only delaying inevatable, so surgery was chosen. Dr. Yeon listened and did NOT push surgery on me. He said Physical therapy, then mri, & see what happens. The surgery date came, & I was so nervous, but the staff at Orange Regional was superb & Dr. Yeon sat aside me after my surgery was delayed for hours, and ? what I was gonna do. He is indeed TRUTHFUL about what to expect, and promised to do his BEST and I felt after reading Cindy G.'s review and seeing him, that I was comfortable enough to go ahead. He was very caring & checked on me in the morning. Every time I called his office, his nurse/office staff returned my call!! I went through alot during this time with my health, but I'm glad I chose Dr. Yeon. In the surgery world, he's right - everyone does not heal the same/react the same -I'm still healing, I work everyday to improve, but overall I've come a long way from where I was and if someone worse off than me can bounce back, I'm giving it my all with this gift! I personally believe he's very gifted/talented and wants the best for his patients. Surgery like this is not like removing a hangnail, it's serious, and for me to put my life in his hands, there was definately a bond of trust there or I wouldn't have gone through with it. It was the reviews that also reassured me and his background to go through it. I even had called on a weekend and questioned medication, and he personally returned my call right away. I think doctors are human and people forget that. This is a difficult surgery to go through and everything may not be as perfect - you might wait a bit, etc... but in the end, if you know you had a good doctor, good hospital and their staff, then you're in good hands! Thank you to the staff with my multiple calls, being patient, Thankyou to the nurses who reassured me at Orange Regional, and thank you Dr. Yeon!

I could not ask for more. I knew he knew what he was doing and was an expert. That is what I wanted. Someone confident and assuring, to the point and straigtforward. I could not have asked for more. He told me the issue, layed out the options, told me what he was going to do, told me the risks, followed up after surgery...I felt in good hands. I would take skill, knowlege and professionalism over everything else. Since he was confident, so was I.

i found him very caring and informative. He came in to see me before surgery to be sure I was ok and he also was there waiting for me in the operating room. He made me feel comfortable. After surgery he took time to talk with my family about the surgery and answered all their questions. I am very happy that I was referred to him. My followup is in a week. I read the bad reviews and do not agree with them.

I'm not sure about the other reviewers experience, but Dr. Yeon tried everything with me, physical therapy, steroid shots, PT for a year before I insisted on the surgery. He seemed concerned and didn't want me to rush into surgery.

other than a longer than average wait time, Dr Yeon exhibits true caring for his patients.
