Dr. Hubert Ogan Garcia, MD

When he was good, he was very good. But he doesn't treat women as carefully as he does men and sometimes he just doesn't care at all! If he says to you (as he said to my husband), "this is not my problem. Go see (specialist) and don't come back", don't go back. At all.

This is one of the best doctors you will ever have.

By 78 years of age my wife and I have seen and have been treated by many physicians for various types of ailments and accidents, some very serious , but Dr. Garcia has been the most considerate of any we have ever been to and he and his staff have also been the most informative of any.

Dr Hurbert is simply the most caring, compassionate, understanding doctor you will find! His bedside manner is second to none. I started going to him many years ago when I lived in the Brooksville area, and even though I now live in Tampa- I still make the trip north to see him. Don't know how anyone could find anything negative to say about him!!!!

Dr. Hubert Garcia covered for my Dr. during a recent hospital stay. It was an emergency and late at night and Dr. Hubert Garcia acted annoyed that he had to come to the hosipital and talked down to me about my condition. The doctor has no bedside manner.

It's not that hard to find a good doctor. What's hard is to find one near you, who accepts your insurance, and so on. Dr. Garcia is not only a fine doctor, and a good man in general (I know him outside the office) but everything matches up to make my infrequent visits a positive experience. Recommended!

Excellent caring doctor. He always has time for you and listens to what you have to say. He will always return your call the same day. If you need an appointment he will fit you in on the day you call. He always takes the time to explain everything to you in laymen's terms,. Could not ask for a better doctor,

Dr H. Garcia has been my doctor since 94 totally trust him with my life he has saved my life actually so I cant thank him enough .

Both my parents are patients of Dr. Garcia. You don't mind waiting an extra few minutes in the office because he takes time to treat the whole patient... listens, makes appropriate suggestions to not just treat the symptoms, but gets to root cause. My dad was recently admitted to hospital and when he came to see him, he not only explained a treatment plan to my dad, but answered all of our questions from the family as well. He also completed family leave paperwork in a timely manner without charging for a separate appointment.

As an RN, perhaps I'm in a better position to "rate" doctors. This guy is great. I wish I were a better patient.

Dr. Garcia takes what ever time is needed to see you and is willing to listenand work with you on treatment. If you call with a problem he will return your call as soon as he can that same day.

He is patient, courteous, a good listener and I never feel rushed -these are the reasons Dr. Garcia is our doctor. He makes all options available to me so that I can make an informed decision. He works within the confines of the insurance plan I have (by trying covered meds first, for example), but I have never felt that I am not getting excellent care, only that he will not overprescribe or to do unnecessary treatment. For that, I thank him for being profession and not treating me "because I think I need it."

This Doc came highly recommended by a good friend. I'm not feeling it though. Totally lets the insurance company dictate how he treats his patients and I will be looking for a new Doc asap. I live in a geographic area where the Doctors aren't exactly from the the top of their class in med school. LOL
