Dr. Ian Henry Taras, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Taras for over 10 years. He is the best Dr. I have seen in my life. He takes time to get to know you and listen to all your concerns. He makes me feel comfortable and cared for. He has always been available whenever I needed care. He has helped me successfully get my body and hormones on the right track. I like him so much that he is still my primary care physician even though I moved to Colorado Four years ago. I travel back to California yearly sometimes twice a year just to see him. Dr Taras now cares for my sister as her primary care physician. Thank you Dr. T!!!

But I can tell you that when I found Dr Taras he changed my life! I have been going to Dr. Taras for at least five years and I think he is a fantastic doctor. He was recommended to me by my friend, and since then, I have recommended him to a friend who also thinks he's a fantastic doctor. He has a very sincere and caring "bedside" manner and is very knowledgeable about current treatments, female issues, and bioidentical hormones. He is very easy to talk to which is extremely important to me. I hope he never retires.

Beyond wonderful, he is a great doctor, through, listens, and applies his expertise and knows his field. If you are in need of a gyno. that is an expert, go no further than Dr. Taras. I am happy I have been going to him for years. Great crew and he is a genuinely nice person.

Female 60 on HRT with bleeding. and overly thick lining to uterus was referred to Dr. Taras by my regular Dr. and I am so glad she did! My experience with my last doctor was really unpleasant, so I hadn't been in to see anyone in a while. A coworker recommended Dr. Taras after seeing him herself. He was wonderful. Attentive, funny and interested in helping me find a birth control option that would work for me. (I had horrible side effects from the last pill I'd been on.) I would recommend him to anyone.

My gynecologist moved and recommeded Dr. Ian Taras. Dr. Taras is by far the best doctor I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable and truly cares about his patients. He is kind and caring and never rushes. I highly recommend him. If I ever moved I would fly back to see him....THAT is how good a doctor he is.

Dr. Taras is a perfect Gynecologist. He has a really warm, caring personality and was able to get me to have a mammogram where my other gynecologist was not. He has been unbelieveably supportive during a sudden health issue I've had and is just excellent in his field. A friend recommended him to me and I am so grateful that I found him.

Dr. Taras has been my doctor for ten years, and has delivered three of my children. I have also gone through several miscarraiges with him, and he is hands-down the most caring doctor I have ever met. In additon to caring he is also incredibly knowlegable and is extremely accessible. You can write an email to him and receive a very quick response! He really will spend a lot of time with each of his patients, and you always feel like he has plenty of time for you! The staff in his office take his lead and they are sweet and caring and knowledgable as well. The only negative I can say is that I am so sad that he no longer delivers babies!

Dr. Ian Taras is absolutely, hands-down, the best gyno I've ever had!!! He is compassionate, considerate, friendly, has an excellent bed-side manner, and makes you feel very comfortable. No matter what the subject (which could be embarrassing or uncomfortable) he always puts you at ease. He's done everything from routine office visits, delivered my youngest daughter (11 yrs ago), performed an endometrial ablation on me, and he is absolutely amazing. His staff is friendly, helpful and courteous as well. I've been seeing Dr. Taras now for about 12 or 13 years. I would recommend him to anyone. He's the best!

After dealing with female issues for over 20 years-I finally found the BEST Doctor in the state of California! (possibly the world!) From my 1st visit with Dr Taras I was impressed-1st by the amount of time he spent actually talking to and listening to me- nearly an hour and 1/2-almost unheard of these days...and then by his compassion, caring and understanding of my problems. He was the 1st and only DR that I had seen (and I had seen MANY) that offered a less invasive hysterectomy- LSH-(after being told for years that I needed a total hysterectomy) and when I made the decision to finally do it- I had wished that I had found him years earlier. I was able to go home the same evening of my surgery-no overnight hospital stay. And was back to work in less than 2 weeks. In addition to that-Dr Taras has helped me thru this maze of life called menopause with his ability to think outside the "traditional HRT" box-and his expertise in bio identical HRT therapies. Dr Taras has made a HUGE difference in the quality of my life. I would recommend him (and have!) to any woman seeking a kind, caring, knowledgeable Doctor. I'd also like to point out that I was adamant on finding a female DR - but decided to try Dr Taras on the recommendation of a female pharmacist.....and I am thrilled that I listened to her.Did I mention that I LOVE DR TARAS!!!!
