Horrible experience with the office staff. I was supposed to be put on a waitlist a year ago and was told that I will be called back when the spot becomes available. I was referred to this Dr by another healthcare professional and I truly needed her help. When I called today to check on the status they informed me that they called everyone from the waitlist of last year and I wasn’t there. Ridiculous! I’ve made no comment or drama on the phone but simply to be put on a waitlist again and was denied with no explanation. I tried to get help through the main office of Englewood Health and patient relations dep personnel was very understanding, she spoke to a doctor herself but she answered that she doesn’t take new patients. I understand it is the case now. BUT excuse me, it was your office personnel’ mistake that I wasn’t put and/or called of the waitlist and you still refused to fix it. Unprofessional and disrespectful.

If you want the best in health care and also want to be treated with respect look no further. I have multiple issues including Type ll Diabetes, heart disease, Barrett's Esophagus, high blood pressure and more. Dr. Tartakovsky offers the most comprehensive and conscientious care while also treating me as a person rather than just another case. The staff is super friendly and professional and the wait time for an appointment is actually lower than the lowest possible rating for this site. I have been treated earlier than my actual appointment when I arrive early.

Dr. T. is an excellent doctor who 's concern and care for you as her patient is wonderful. Her main goal is to make you as healthy as possible . She has a warm and caring demeanor during every visit which eases any worries you may have. We highly recommend her !!

Without getting into details, Dr. T saved my life once, and it happened because she knew enough to see beyond what I was saying, ask the right questions and look in the right place. I love her.

I've been seeing Dr. Tartakovsky for many years now. I've never had a doctor who followed up in the way she does or remembered my history. When I've needed a specialist she's sent me to ones I've loved, as well, and is great about following up with the, too. She literally saved the life of a friend of mine. The best.

Dr. T saved my mother's life, helped diagnose my daughter's heart condition, which required heart surgery, helped me through my son's misdiagnosed (by another doctor) infection which threatened to go to his brain. She will not give you antibiotics when they are not needed; if you haven't heard - overprescribing of those in the USA poses a greater world-wide risk than global warming. She is a very good listener, she is tuned in to her patient's needs, and she will explain her plan of action, tests, meds, other doctors to see. She calls you AT HOME to follow up!!!! If that does not deserve 10 stars, I don't know what does. She is prompt, caring... I don't have enough words to describe how lucky I am that she is mine and my family's doctor! Just the BEST.

I was referred to Dr Tartakovsky by an elderly family member and made an appointment for a routine physical. The earliest appointment was 2 months away, I had a 15 minute consultation with the doctor and some routine blood tests were ordered. The nightmare began when I started getting enormous bills, was told by the rather nasty staff that it was billed as a "new patient visit" and that there was nothing they could do and to STOP CALLING. Being a healthcare provider myself with excellent insurance and in perfect health, I am appalled that I paid $500 out of pocket for the substandard care. My insurance would have paid in full if it had been billed as a preventative visit which is all it was. It is disgusting that even the lab refused to pay for a routine blood count and chemistry that is 100% covered had it been billed correctly. I would never go back there and hope for the sake of their largely elderly clientele that they clean up their billing practices.

The way you are treated by the staff at this office is horrendous and I found this to be true for regular visits as well as for emergencies. Disbelieving that the doctor could really allow such policies, rudeness and lack of assistance, I wrote to Dr Tartakovsky on two different occasions about the experience. What they told me exhibited that she didn't care about me at all and I thought she should know about it. She never called me or wrote back. I wrote "confidential" on the envelope each time (Incidents were a year apart). Either she was never given the letters or she really didn't care...both are completely unacceptable for a medical practice. Follow up after visit? Never. Follow up after leaving messages? Never Follow up after writing to her? None Had seen her for about 6 years till I finally decided to get a new doctor.

Recognized a lump I had and immediately had me pursue further testing!...She saved me.

I became very ill during the night, called doctors service; received a call back from Dr. Tartakovskys partner who told me to contact the office. I came in 9 AM without an appointment, with an excruciating headache because I was not sure if I will be able to drive if I will wait for an appointment; I was not able to keep my head up, or turn myhead. Was told by the staff that I will not be seen without an appointment and if I was really sick, I should go to the emergency room. I was told that I may have to wait a few hours and maybe she will see me then. The staff made sure that every person in the waiting room heard their comments.I asked for a copy of my records and signed a release; was told that everyone was busy, the office will call me with the cost of the copying and after payment received I will get the records. However, after 11 days, I am still waiting for the call.I finally left and visited an emergency room where I had to wait another 90 minutes to be seen.I was not a new patient in this office. Dr. Tartakovskys is my primary physician and I had an annual checkup scheduled prior to the emergency visit, which I cancelled after my horrific emergency visit.Find another dedicated physician!

Although it took a little while to get the very first appt., I have never had this kind of attention or detailed exam from any Doctor. I felt the Dr. showed interest and will look out for me for many years to come.

THe staff is highly unprofessional and rude. The staff will hang up on you if you ask to speak with the doctor and question their policy. The Dr. continually blames her staff when your prescription is not filled promptly. I have waited over a week to get refills. The doctor herself is difficult. Very judgmental doctor. Hard to be honest about yourself when the doctor is so self-righteous.

Excellent doctor!Well educated, compassionate,honest and attentive. I wish she never left New York!!!!
