Dr. Israel Pedro Chambi, MD

I recently had a peripheral nerve decompression surgery with Dr. Chambi. My surgery went very well and was successfull. I suffered from severe sciatica and piriformis syndrome pain on my right side. Dr. Chambi was able to treat my sciatica with a decompression of the right sciatic nerve. I am a week after surgery and my pain in right side has essentially gone away. I would hire dr. Chambi for anyone looking to have a Nerve repair surgery. 10/10

I have been suffering with severe lumbar pain for many years. I went in for a consulation with Dr. Chambi and he said that i suffered from a lumbar disc herniation and a grade I SPondylolethesis at L2-3. He recommended a Lumbar fusion at L2-3. Recently i was able to get me surgery at orange coast memorial medical center were dr. Chambi performed an Interbody lumbar fusion at L2-3 using the left lateral approach with internal reduction of the grade I spondylolethesis at L2-3. A Minammally Invasive technique was used and i had a 1 inch incision. After surgery, i feel great, with minimal incision pain. I would highly recommend dr. Chambi for any lumbar procedure. His staff is friendly and professional.

I recently had a decompression right brachial plexus surgery with DR. CHambi. My surgery was a great success. I was not able to sleep due to my neck and right arm pain. I had a lot of headaches too prior to my surgery. Now am able to sleep better and my Headaches and pain are gone! I would highly recommend dr. Chambi to anyone suffering with Thoracic outlet syndrome. He has a very good beside manner and speaks Spanish fluently. (My native language)

Had a fusion with dr. Chambi and I am still in pain and he says the surgery needs to be redone. I looked on the internet and found a lot of stuff about him.

I recently underwent a decompressivce laminectomy at L1 and L2 to decompress the spinal cord and the cauda Aquina with DR. Chambi. I had a very successful surgery with my surgeon. His minimally invasive technique is quick and effective. I was able to leave the hospital the same day, and my pain in my back has been reduced significantly. Dr. Chambi was able to give me a better quality of life. I would highly recommend dr. Chambi for anyone who suffers from Lumbar pain. A++.

I had a Thoracic spine microdiscetomy to decompress my spinal cord at T7-8 . My operation was a complete success. Dr. Chambi did a wonderful job on my back and I feel so much better. I recently had a Decompression Left brachial plexus surgery for the diagnosis of Thoracic Outlet syndrome. I had a very good outcome. I have zero pain following my surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Chambi for any surgical procedure.

I had a very good experience with dr. Chambi. I had an Anterior Cervical Discectomy and fusion surgery of my neck at the C3-4 Level. Dr. Chambi used a minimally invasive technique that took my neck pain away completely. I do not need to use a Spine Cord Stimulator any more. The staff is friendly and the HOspital at Orange coast memorial medical center was excellent. All the nurses and staff, all the way down to the one transporting around was very friendly. I would highly recommended Dr. Chambi for any spinal surgery.

I underwent an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion at c3-4 and c7-t1. I had a successfull surgery. I have dramatically reduced pain and numbness in my arms and hand. I would highly recommend Dr. Chambi to any one that has neck pain.

several years ago Dr. Chambi removed three tumors from my brain. Recovery was uncomplicated with full recovery within six months; recovery process was closely monitored by Dr. Chambi. I went to him because the then attending physicians did not want to bother with my tumors; they actually refused surgery and yet the symptoms were terrifying, real and very painful. Dr. Chambi was very compassionate, professional and exceptionally skilled at what he does.

I say “botched” because it was how a pain doctor in the hospital where the surgery was performed described it. He was reviewing my case file and said to me: “No wonder you are on so many pain meds because he really botched the surgery”. The surgery did not go well and I was in the hospital for two weeks. Dr. Chambi told me I had an aneurysm of the spine and that he had never seen anything like it. When I awoke from surgery, I was in so much pain, he had to “go back in”, two more times. To make a long story short, not only did the surgery not relieve pain, it caused more pain and my life has changed forever. I live with constant terrible low back pain. At follow up visits, I could never get Dr. Chambi to explain to me why the pain is so bad, or what could be done to relieve it.

I recently had a one neck fusion surgery at C7-T1 and left ulnar nerve decompression and nerve repair surgery with dr. Chambi. The best thing about this surgery surgery is that my headaches were gone the very next day. My Left arm regained it strength after the ulnar procedure. I am very happy with my results. I would highly recommend dr. Chambi to any one suffering from neck pain. The hospital were the surgery was performed was excellent.

I had a 3 level neck fusion surgery at c3-4 c4-5, c5-6 with dr. Chambi in September 2017. I feel a lot better after surgery. I was able to go home after one inpatient day stay at the hospital. I would recommend dr. Chambi to anyone suffering from chronic neck pain. He uses the latest technology in minimally invasive spine surgery. A++.
