Dr. Israr Ahmad Sheikh, MD

Dr Sheikh was working up at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND, before he was hired by Sanford in Fargo and he sent my son who has Crohn’s Disease to a General surgeon to have his entire colon removed and an ileostomy bag for the rest of his life. The general surgeon fortunately noticed that Dr Sheikh did NOT READ THE BOTTOM LINE OF EACH BIOPSY ON THE PATHOLOGY REPORT. The top line ended with Dyplasia on each biopsy and the second line read NOT IDENTIFIED. He had no Dyplasia or “cancer throughout his entire colon” as we were told by Dr. SheikhToday, I noticed my upper Endoscopy was scheduled with him and when I called to reschedule with a different provider they told me he had never worked at Altru in Grand Forks. So, I now feel compelled to share this story before this lying doctor harms more patients.
