My husband was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. We were immediately referred to Dr. Issam Halaby. Our entire experience with Dr. Halaby and his staff was excellent. He took the time to explain in detail the procedure he was going to perform and what we should expect. He checked on my husband every day in the hospital and even gave us his personal cell number in case we needed to reach him. His staff was professional and extremely helpful. Dr. Halaby was asked to assist me after a previous operation had some issues. He saved my life. His care, skill, and professionalism was outstanding. After my operation he took the time to explain all that had happened and all that was going on. His followups were to the point, articulate, and showed great concern until he felt confident enough to release me.

I have gone to Dr. Halaby several times for the veins in my legs. I try to have them treated before they become too bad. Dr. Halaby treated them both with laser and injections. Both of these gave me excellent results. I liked that he listened to my concerns, and we discussed the best treatment for me. I had a minimum of pain and am very happy with the results.

I was very pleased with the courteous and professional medical advice and services provided by Dr. Halaby. Dr. Halaby took the time to explain my condition from the test results that he reviewed and the alternative medical procedures in detail by drawing a diagram of the procedures and he would constantly pause to ask if I had any questions. When I asked Dr. Halaby questions, I found him to be an attentive listener who would clearly provide answers to my questions, and then confirm with me that I understood his explanation. After the surgery, he immediately met with my wife and clearly explained the results of the surgery and answered her questions. In short, I found Dr. Halaby to be personally interested and concerned about me as his patient with excellent bed-side manners. I would highly recommend him without hesitation. In addition, Dr. Halaby’s partners, Dr. Smith and Dr. Willkomm, who visited me on the weekend during my hospital stay, serve as complimentary Team members with Dr. Halaby providing the same courteous and professional concern for their patient.

On my first visit to Dr. Halaby he reviewed my ultrasound and asked me a lot of questions and really listened to me. He knew how sick I was and was kind and compassionate. He told me I needed surgery and explained the process to me. I saw him on a Fri. and he did the surgery on the next Tues. He even has to adjust his schedule. The day of surgery he came to see me before and asked if I had any questions. After surgery he explained everything to my husband. On my followup appointment he explained what had been done -- to me and did a checkup. I will recommend to anyone that needs his services

After a year of going to different doctors I went see Dr. Halaby and was sent in for a test and he found out the problem and I had surgery if it was not for him I might not be here today. The staff was always prompt and courteous and Dr. Halaby took his time to go over my diagnosis and treatment.

I came in for an emergent situation and he was able to squeeze me into that day's schedule. He examined me and ordered tests so that I had a diagnosis right away. He is very patient in explaining and talked to me in terms that I could understand.

Doctor Halaby is really an exceptional surgeon and wonderful person. He is to the point and direct which is what I needed as both of my parents have had health issues over the past six months. He has gone out of his way to communicate the situations to me as I live out of state. He has been the most exceptional doctor personally and professionally that I have ever met.
