Dr. Jack Randolph Eades, MD

Worst visits I've ever had with a doctor. During the first visit, Dr. Eades decided to waste time ranting about the evils of socialism while (ironically) trying to get me to bring him a free copy of one of my books (I'm a novelist). He also left me on the table after an allergy test for approximately 25 min. in an uncomfortable position, although my time was up well before then. He diagnosed me for a skin condition, scheduled me for a follow up, and continued to treat me through a nurse practitioner. I saw him again on the THIRD visit, when he decided to refer me to a dermatologist. He assured me it would be a male doctor (I hadn't requested one). He also had the female NP step out of the room when looking at my thigh. My thigh. When I asked why he was referring me, he said it was because skin conditions were not his specialty and he shouldn't be treating it. It... was... my... third... visit. Of course, he wanted me to have a fourth visit weeks later. I'm declining.

This is the worst doctor I have ever seen in my entire life! He's extremely rude and condescending. I would never send anyone here to get an allergy test or anything for that matter. Not one time did he ask why I was there instead he just assumed I was there to see if I had asthma. When I tried to explain why I was there with an answer to a question he asked he rudely and abruptly cut me off to explain to me like a toddler that this was a yes or no question and repeated again that I could only say yes or no. When the actual answer was more complicated than a yes or no answer. This guy is a total joke... Just the amount of arrogance and zero care or empathy for a patient is missing.. if you're wanting to come to a doctor and have them actually understand why they are seeking help, I promise you do not go here. This "Doctor", who does not shut his mouth at any point (and honestly it could be a woman thing and he could be completely sexist but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and just saying he's an awful person). I plan to contact TRICARE (since it seems like his business is really benefiting from scamming military families and service members) and explain to them how awful of an experience I had and what I need to do to get him off the referral list. In summary the doctor is extremely rude, will not actually ever ask you why you are there (concerns), if you try to speak up for yourself he will immediately go in defence mode, has more arrogance then he knows what to do with. This review is coming from an extremely laid-back personin which I have never had genuinely such a poor experience at a doctors office I felt the need to write a review... But on top of that I've never in my life written a review on yelp and planed to copy and paste it and put it everywhere on the web.

We have seen Dr. Eades only once , but we were impressed by his knowledge of the problems we were dealing with. His recommendations were sensible , reasonable and very clearly explained. His staff were very kind and efficient.

I am so thankful to Dr. Eades and the staff of Southern Allergy and Asthma. I have long suffered from Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria (undiagnosed hives) and have been battling outbreaks over the last 30 years. When I have a flare up, I get extreme hives- covering my entire body every day. This fabulous doctor doesn’t give up when other allergists did! He not only found a viable option to help- and then constantly documented and urged the insurance pharmacy to finally approve the specialty medicine that I need to control the problem. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without their willingness to listen, keep trying new things, and their perseverance to get me the medication I need. They will always work me in when I have an emergency and his staff is beyond great- I feel more like they are my family! Thank you Dr. Eades and Southern Allergy!

Dr Eades found the cause of my child's chronic cough to be asthma and started prompt treatment. I can't tell you how frustrated we had been before seeing Dr Eades

Dr. Eades has treated my children and I for several years now. He always treats us kindly and his staff are fantastic people. He is quite a wonderful person. I highly recommend him and his staff at Southern Allergy and Asthma.

This is not your every day doctors office. Every single staff member was incredibly nice, sincere, and helpful. Dr Eades did not rush me. He listened to my issues and together we came up with a plan that worked to help me heal. I definitely recommend this practice to anyone who is suffering from horrible allergies, asthma, or hives.

I have been very impressed with not only his staff and PA but esp with Dr. Eades himself. He was very proactive in finding/treating my hives. He has always taken the time in my apt to discuss and answer any questions I had. What I liked and admired most about him is he, on several different times called after work hours and on the weekend to check on me . There were times at first (before we found right meds to control hives) I had back outbreaks and he took me to see him even with no apt. He really cares about his patients !!!!! I willnot ever use a diff dr.

I visited the area for a few weeks and got sick. No other office would see me. A friend told me about Southern Allergy and Asthma and I jumped on it. Called and was seen the same day. Very very rare but I was so grateful. Yes did get me feeling better. Great office staff! Thanks Ladies! Pretty ladies too!

For years i had been told I was allergic to certain foods...erroneously it turned out. Dr. Eades tested me and then did a food challenge. My diet has expanded and I can eat seafood again. Thank you Dr Eades. Thank you thank you thank you

So glad to have Southern Allergy back! SouthCoast was awful but now friendly, helpful people answer the phone. I'm greeted with a smile and the staff is friendly. I actually enjoy going for my weekly shots again

Dr. Eades has been treating my daughter for her asthma and allergies for several years now, and has more recently been treating me for allergies. We have always found him and his staff to be caring and concerned for our well-being; found him to be knowledgeable and current in his field; and he is very respectful, personable and approachable in his demeanor.
