Dr. James David Polk, MD

I have tried a couple of Drs since moving back to MS. & Dr. Polk is the best by far..

Beginning with the warm and friendly greeting of the front office staff, the check-in procedure of blood pressure, temperature, etc. by nurses, x-ray, blood or urine check, the procedures are done with expertise and an even flow of caring and friendliness. Dr. Polk is friendly and relaxing...but is on-point in his diagnosis ...and shoots straight from the hip when suggesting any life-style changes his patient (me) should make for a healthy future. Dr. Polk is a treasure!

Dr. Polk belongs in the class of doctors who do not think he is God. He will talk to his patients and do all with in his ability to resolved their issues. You feel like you are his most important patient when under his care.

Don't go to this doctor. He jokes at inappropriate times, when you are scared. Went to him many years and he let me down, when i needed his care the most.

He used to be a good doctor. But he needs to retire, he is not caught up with current medicine.

I have been going to Dr. James Polk for many years. always able to get an appointment when needed and everyone of the staff there are great. Dr.Polk takes time to find out why I needed to see him and never lets me leave till he knows he has helped me.He is the best Doctor I have ever see.
