Dr. James Anthony Dragone, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Dragone for more than 15 years. He has seen me through numerous health issues, both minor and major. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Dragone is the best doctor around. My entire family goes to him.

Dr. Dragone treated my children and myself (until I left NY). I've found some great doctors here in Florida but I do miss my Dr. Dragone. I second and third all the nice things said on this page.

The most compassionate caring Dr. I have ever been to. I too am a health care provider and work with many Drs.. Dr. Dragone has a heart of gold, takes his time listening and diagnosing . I thank god he is my family primary physician. yes it may be hard to get an appt. and yes reception staff can be rude but the are not providing care. I'm willing to wait for such a wonderful Dr.

Dr Dragone is the best, if you can get to him. The woman that answers the phone, ALWAYS PUTS YOU ON HOLD. After making your co-pay you must bring your paperwork to a second window where the rude lady ignores the fact that you are standing at the window. When she gets around to acknowledging your existence, she opens the window, grabs the paper and tells you t sit down(maybe) - nice greating - learn some manners.

I woke up in a great deal of pain today because I had not correctly followed Dr. Dragones prescribed treatment for a congenital musculoskeletal condition. Rather than follow the doctors advice, I did what I thought was best for me. I could not have been more wrong, and was suffering the consequences of my poor decision making.I instinctively drove directly to Dr. Dragones office even though I did not have an appointment and walk-in hours had long past.It turned out Dr. Dragone was off -- but that made no difference to his staff. Seeing that I was in pain, and although they were fully booked for the day, they fit me in almost immediately. Nurse Practitioner, Rechner quickly familiarized herself with my condition and treatment plan. She asked me questions and listened to my responses. She then adjusted Dr. Dragones treatment plan to account for my current condition, and within two hours, I was feeling markedly better. It is now nearly 11PM, and I feel my old self again.My walk-in visit inconvenienced a good number of Dr. Dragones staff today, and yet they treated me like a family member. I count myself lucky to call Dr. Dragone, my doctor.

The doctor listens. He explains things to us, including my 80+ year old mom, in a way that we can understand, without being patronizing. The office staff is wonderful - patient, respectful. Calls are returned. Test results are conveyed. The early morning clinic set up is the best idea ever. It has saved us many days of not having to miss work for minor medical concerns.

Dr. Dragone treats my entire family and all agree that he is the best doctor any of have ever had to date. He is knowledgeable, practicle and personable in his approach to visits and medicine in general. Highly recommeneded.
