It is always a nervous time when dealing with a diagnosis for your child. Our first appointment Dr Beard spent plenty of time explaining and making us feel comfortable. Our son loves to visit him, he is full of energy just like him. Strongly recommend him!

Dr Beard is a fantastic behavioral pediatrician. He treats two of my children with ADHD and associated issues. He is very experienced, extremely competent and caring. We have know him for 7 years and I consider him not only our doctor but also our friend. The only challenge is getting into the practice for an initial consultation due to the shortage of available physicians in this area with this area of expertise. There are none better then Jim in Greenville.

Dr. Beard is the most caring, down to earth, keep-it-real physician I have ever met. My daughter has been treated by him for about 7 years and always enjoys going to talk to him. as she has grown he has talked to her about how her ADHD might effect her decisions at each age- always in a professional manner. Everything from friends, homework, boys and driving - he covers it all. The biggest downside is that so many people love him - sometimes he's hard to get scheduled with. BUT his PA is also great!
