Dr. James N Long, MD

My dad cut the top of his finger off and went to the Iuka Hospital. They consulted dr long to get his finger fixed. His bone was sticking out of the top of his finger and the skin had been removed. He is also a diabetic. He was advised to wrap it up and schedule an appointment. Iuka ended up sending him to Tupelo where he is going into surgery with Dr Lewis to have it fixed. My father is not on any type of Medicaid or government assistance and has BCBS insurance. I say this because I’ve witnessed how uninsured or low income are treated because of insurance payout. This was just a total lack of human compassion or concern.

Je was great all the way around with my treatment and surgery.

Short wait time, WOW! Dr. Long a lot spent time with me discussing my problem and helped me make a decision I've been happy with ever since!

Dr. Long and his staff are great. He answered all my questions and took his time in explain the process and surgery to me. Very compassionate person who took great care of me.

So thorough in answering my questions, great bedside manner.
