Dr. James Michael Nieman, MD

Dr. Nieman I enjoy his appointments. He seems very concerned. He gives options for treatment and points out the best plan. I feel very comfortable with him. I would go to him again.

I was operated on by Dr Nieman 11-17-23 for my dominate shoulder. He did a fantastic job . I'm very happy with him and the outcome of the procedure he did. Great guy and fantastic bedside manner. Only negative thing I have to say is I was at oio for 3 hrs for my follow up appointment was at 9:40 waited for x-ray for almost an hr. Then another hr .waiting to see him .then 40 minutes or better waiting in the room . He did apologize for our wait . That helps alittle but a 3 hour stay for a follow up is a little ridiculous!

My 12 y.o. unfortunately recently broke both wrists during sports practice. We saw Dr. Nieman and he was wonderful. Upbeat, positive attitude. Had my son smiling even while delivering not so fun news. He’s got great “bedside manner.”

Dr Nieman , is great . Always comes in with a smile and is not in a hurry to rush out . Explains everything. He is great ?? in his injections too, no pain. Thank you Dr Nieman. He has taken good care of both of my knees.

Absolutely the best OIO doctor. Very straightforward and professional. Doesn't make you feel like your a bother like most doctors. Would definitely recommend.

Have been a patient for several years. Always am very pleased. Down to earth and treats us kind.

I normally make my appointments for first thing in the morning, and don’t have a problem with getting in/out very quickly. This last time I needed an afternoon appointment, and was in OIO for 1 hr 25 min. Wait time for X-rays was 30 minutes, wait time in the exam room was approximately 30 min. I haven’t seen Dr Neiman since my very first visit, but the two PAs I’ve seen are very attentive and efficient. I’ve been coming to this office for almost 4 years.

I have been seeing Dr Nieman for a round 14 years. His is professional and keeps me well informed of options to treat my knee

I’ve seen Doctor Nieman and his staff multiple times. I’ve had a couple of surgeries that he has performed with excellent results. I also have some ongoing issues that they treat as well and could not be happier. Him and his staff never make you feel rushed or dismissed unlike other places I’ve been to. It really does make a difference going to someone like this compared to a general practitioner, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Talked to me for 45mins about doing a knee replacement and then decided not to do it. Told me to find another Dr that would do it cause he will not.

Dr. N is knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He gets an A from me.

I arrived a little early and was sent right to x-rays for a few views and then to the office. Called in almost as I sat down. Waited a bit however the Doc took his time with me, listened to what I had to say and provided me with a few treatment options. Overall, very good.
