You don't met many surgeons who have an amazing bed side manner and great sense of humor. Dr. Pellicane is just that! He along with his staff have been amazing to me with my Breast Cancer Journey. When hearing the word Cancer at just turning 39, things get scary. Dr. Pellicane takes the time to explain each thing, I never feel rushed or left without knowing what the next step is. His staff at both locations are wonderful. He is truly a compassionate Surgeon who cares about his patients. There is no one else I'd choose to be his part in my Cancer Team.

Dr. Pellicane is very thorough, answers all your questions. He's well known within the community and all say his work is the best!

uninterested in his patient, uncaring, cocky, obviously better at honing his reputation than honing his skills - his work failed utterly to meet the expectations he raised - and actually intervened to cancel a subsequent appointment this very disappointed and dissatisfied patient then made with a different physician (is that ethical?). Run, don't walk, from this .doctor whose ego and concern for his hyped reputation far outweigh his concern for and care of his patients.

I was 27 when diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr Pellicane was truly God sent. His compassion is immeasurable especially for someone who has been practicing for so long. He is honest and forward while providing all options possible. There is no one better bc of him and his team my future with my children is brighter than ever...

Dr Pellicane successfully tackled a tri-focal (3 small tumor) lumpectomy that would have given other fine/excellent physicians pause. Multiple tumors almost automatically mean a mastectomy. Clean margins were achieved with an unexpectedly superb cosmetic result. He is a cutting edge surgeon that our Castle Connolly-rated referring GP described as "excellent in every respect." He is very compassionate, but he is driven by empirical data. In other words, you can trust that he will be conservative in his judgments and shoot straight with you, while not shying away from a challenge that will help you. On that count had he recommended a mastectomy I would have trusted his judgment completely. This is type of reassurance you need in these trying circumstances. He's likely one of the best breast surgeons in the Mid-Atlantic. His staff shares his same qualities as Dr Pellicane: confident, caring and thorough.

Dr. Pellicane is very competent and caring and takes the time to answer all of your questions. He includes you as a partner in making decisions and the office has a goal of getting you in as quickly as possible.

Dr. Pellicane was a blessing when I found out I needed a surgical biopsy. Very caring, very patient, very competent. Have recommended him to a few other women. Trust him completely. Very good about follow-up and about returning phone calls.
