Dr. James Robert Yu, MD

I’ve seen a number of doctors over the last two years to try to discover the source of debilitating pain in my foot and ankle. It wasn’t until I began seeing Dr. Yu that the sources of pain were identified and successfully treated. Dr. Yu was extremely methodical in diagnosing and treating my pain. He answered all of my questions in terms I could understand and never made me feel like I was keeping him from rushing off to see another patient.

Took time to answer all questions to make sure I was making the correct decision for me. Never had the feeling that one foot was out the door just waiting to move on to the next patient. Worked my appointment in at a time good for me. About average amount of waiting to see someone.

Found Dr. Hu to be both professional and pleasant during my visit. He was very thorough with his explanation of what the surgery would involve and the after care for recovery.

He is a great Dr. He knows what you need when he diagnosed your problem. I have been to a lot of Dr's regarding my foot and he is the only one who fixed it. I would highly recommend Dr. Yu.

Dr. James is very professional and knowledgeable, my experience there was exceptional. My family is very pleased.

Everyone I encountered in the office was friendly, efficient, and helpful. My wait in the office was maybe 10 mins and once taken back to see Dr Yu I waited only 3-5 mins. X-rays were done and Dr Yu came in to see me with answers and solutions. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and wanted me to understand what the problem was. I highly recommend him.

Dr Yu is is an amazing surgeon. I would highly recommend him. He is the hardest working Dr I have ever met. He cares about his patients so much. You will be very happy with choosing him as your physician

You did a super job on my ankle

Dr. Yu is the BEST! He has taken such good care of me over these past few years with my ankles and knee. 2 years ago Dr. Yu did an ankle replacement on my ankle, and it is perfect. I suffered for the longest with that ankle and so much horable pain. After he did the surgery on my ankle I have not been in any pain, yesterday XRays showed it healed exactly as he had planned. I would suggest Dr. Yu to everyone with ankle and foot pain he is awesome!! Front staff and back staff always were nice and gave me great patient care as well.

Very informative, to the point. Not a dr to bandage the symptoms. He wants to get to the root of the problem and so do I. It’s refreshing to have a dr with that goal. I’ll update if this changes throughout my visits.

Friendly, professional and educational. I really appreciated him taking the time to explain all the possible processes and outcomes of my injury. After visiting him I am confident in my steps towards recovery.

I have a foot problem that I was told to see an Orthopedic Dr. The hospital suggested a Dr. but I would have to drive to Lebanon to see him. Long story short since I had seen Dr. Yu previously I chose to go see him. I think he is the best. He is concerned about what is best for you along with explaining why you need to do what he tells you for a good recovery. I will always see him and recommend him.

Easy to understand...great at explaining what we were looking at on the MRI.. up beat and optimistic. Laid out the plan for the next 6 weeks that made us feel better about what can the body can do to heal. Would definitely refer to others.
