Dr. James Melvin Rajan, MD

I had been in and out if hospitals for over 2 years for hyponatremia, given the same treatment having multiple tests giving the same results. The day Dr. Rajan stepped into my hospital room my life changed for ever. I was on an antidepressant that was causing this to happen. My sodium has returned to normal by tapering off the medication.

My mom went to Dr. Rajan for 6 years. During that time, she was extremely ill and in a nursing home, but Dr. Rajan always put a smile on her face and treated her with utmost dignity, respect, and compassion. Although he was technically treating her for her kidney condition, he did so much more, even convincing her to get another sleep study done so she could wear the CPAP she refused to wear for years. She wouldn't do this as many times myself and 4 siblings asked, but for Dr. Rajan, she was willing. Her carbon dioxide levels were dangerously high and without the CPAP she would have died. He had already saved her life when she went to ER with kidney failure. At a follow-up visit she thanked him for saving her life and he humbly gave credit to God for giving him the ability to help her. I will never forget that moment. Both my mom and myself were filled with unlimited thanks that God placed Dr. Rajan in our lives. My mom crafted a couple of picture frames for him as a way of letting him know how much she appreciated all he did. She had great difficulty doing so because of the nerapathy in her hands from her diabetes. He not only showed visibly he was touched by her efforts, but proudly displayed his children's pictures in them there at the office. These are just a couple examples why I (as the daughter of one who witnessed at each visit what this man represented not only medically, but in the area of humanity...compassion, kindness, humility, etc) would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Rajan!!!!!

Being referred to the doctor by my ocologist he was able to determine what was actually going wrong and got me back to better health
