Dr. Jan Lanelle Furniss, MD

I happened upon Dr. Furniss luckily as she was covering in the ER one day. She was kind to me but more importantly she listened to me! I didn't feel like my prior doctor had really listened to me in a long time. I could tell right away that she has a heart for her patients. I am truly impressed with how hard she works. She has called me to discuss results after hours because she knew I was worried and didn't want me to have to wait. Did I expect that? No. But I am so thankful that she took her valuable time to put my mind at ease. And she called me herself to discuss my issues. It wasn't a nurse, or staff, it was her! I have never felt rushed in her office or left with questions. She is extremely thorough and because of that you can expect a wait. The wait is worth it! I only wish she had a general practice so I could see her for everyday run of the mill minor issues.

There is no one I would trust more with my OBGYN health than Dr. Furniss. She listens to her patients' concerns and provides the most personalized care I have ever experienced from a specialist. She communicates well with staff in her office as well as with staff in Willow Creek Women's Hospital to ensure her patients' are well taken care of. I appreciate her genuine interest in taking care of myself and my baby.

Thank you Dr Furniss for taking care of me.. This has been my cry. She is what I call a true DR..someone that has the TIME or TAKES the time to hear you out. Then assesses and forms a plan.. Is always listening...and NO question goes unanswered. I felt as if she wouldn't let me go until I was totally comfortable with our plan..She makes you feel at ease and can talk about anything... she draws to explain.. I'm a visual learner so that was an easy way to explain things.. She takes your concerns and questions seriously...unlike the other GYN I have been seeing... ..I admirer her so much just for allowing more time with each of her patients..AND making me feel like I AM IMPORTANT to her. THANK YOU!!
