Dr Jason Flicker is an Outstanding Eye Surgeon He was very Professional as well as extremely friendly when he attended to my Cataract /Lasik & most important got me back 20/20 vision for both my eyes I would highly recommend him for any Eye Procedure M.Jaffer

It has been two weeks since my cataract procedure for the left eye. Dr. Flicker did an amazing job, from pre through to post operative care. He is an excellent surgeon (he also performed my husband's cataract surgery). Dr. Flicker is caring, patient and very thorough with his explanations. I am thrilled to be able to see so clearly again without the need for lens or glasses. His staff and the surgical team all contributed to a wonderful outcome.

Going to any doctor is usually never a pleasant event, but Dr. Flicker and the South Shore Eye Care help to break this rule. The office is friendly and efficiently run. Waiting time is minimal. The technicians cheerfully move the patient through the preliminary process and any tests/photos. Best of all, I simply cannot say enough about Dr. Flicker. His wonderful demeanor immediately puts one at ease and there is great comfort in knowing his examination is always thorough and his diagnosis accurate. I went to the Massapequa office for an eye exam but then went to the Wantagh office for the exams leading up to cataract surgery and the post op exams. Dr. Flicker and his staff were warm and caring to me. He explained the procedure, setting my mind at ease about having surgery on both eyes. The staff were kind and considerate, explaining the eye drops, the Covid exam that was necessary and other incidental things I would need to know. Overall, it was a great experience. Dr. Flicker, on the day of the surgery, put me at ease and explained what was going on every step of the way. He is an excellent doctor and I'm so pleased that I chose him and South Shore Eye Care. Everyone at the Surgicenter was courteous, kind and attentive to the patient's every need. I wasn't left alone the whole time I was there. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Flicker and his practice to anyone needing eye care or eye surgery. Thank you Dr. Flicker.

Overall experience was disappointing. Dr.Flicker was dismissive and quick to leave at 12 pm, I felt rushed. I was told nothing was wrong with me and I came back in and complained , stating their is an underlying issue with my eyes and then after walking back into the office , I was told that I have a stigmatism from one of the people at the front desk, and was given eye drops by them. The original assistant was unfriendly , and Deanna at the front desk was unprofessional, rolled her eyes and turned away from me . I would recommend using someone else.

Dr. Flicker and his staff are AWESOME!!! Dr. Flicker did my LASIK surgery this past summer. It was such an easy and quick process. He and his staff ensured that I was comfortable during the procedure. The process of LASIK included the initial consultation, the actual procedure and a few follow up appointments. After the procedure, I was able to see completely without my glasses or contacts. I highly recommend Dr. Flicker and I definitely plan to keep him as my regular eye doctor. I made the best decision in choosing Dr. Flicker to perform my LASIK procedure.
