I found Dr. James Kangi to be an empathetic, understanding physician who truly gives you the time and expertise needed to feel heard and helped. He cares, listens, and does his best to ease suffering.

A very helpful professional doctor if unaware of your behavioral and mental problems that you are struggling to maintain or ignore in your everyday life.

This doctor I hope is busy. His answering service is the most disorganized mess I've ever delt with. I was asked three times if I needed help and was on the phone for 11 minutes. Needing help and running into this nightmarish obsticle is Painful. I hope he doesn't have a lot of competetion because I'm sure he's losing a lot of potential patients.

I visited with this doctor to try and get some assistance with anxiety and other issues. From the minute I sat down, Dr. Kanji basically told me that he prescribes medicine. That's it. No therapy, no evaluation, etc. Just meds. He even tried to push some meds on me that were extremely strong and addictive. I would NOT recommend this doctor, for I feel he could cause someone to develop addiction to meds, or just result in no improvement. I don't approve of this method. I am find with meds for certain issues, but not RIGHT away. I think some evaluation should be in order. The worst thing about this is that he has a website that touts his "expertise" in dealing with anxiety, and how he uses meds "only when necessary". This was hogwash. I feel truly deceived, and I have no intention of utilizing him again. Lastly, he completely forgot an appointment we had scheduled. Then, he made me wait THREE weeks to even see him. Three weeks to simply get medicine and then to be promptly sent out the door. Ridiculous.
