Dr. Jason Adam Wexler, MD

Dr. Wexler is one of a kind. I have been his patient for five years and during these years he has gone above and beyond the scope of his profession to help me cope with my hyperparathyroidism and osteoporosis diseases. He always takes the time to discuss all my options and what my test results mean. He never makes me feel rushed and always returns my emails quickly. He is friendly, professional, and attentive, and always listens to what I say. In the five years I’ve known him, he has always treated me this way. No matter where I live, or how many miles I need to travel, he will always be my endocrinologist. Excellent is not high enough to rate him.

I have been seeing Dr. Wexler for the last 6 years. He is a very professional and courteous to his patients. He is also a good listener .

Excellent physician. Works WITH the patient, especially those with complex/not so straight forward hypothyroid/Hashimoto's thyroiditis cases. Thorough and LISTENS to the patient.

I was very anxious to see Dr. Wexler - but when I arrived at the office I was a little put off - I thought I was in a clinic. BUT- this was one of the best experiences I have had at a Doctor's office in DC. The staff was very courteous - knew what they were doing. What a relief! Do not let the busy atmosphere deter you! When I did see Dr. Wexler he was terrific. I could tell he was really listening to me and asked a lot of questions. I finally felt as if I was in good hands. This was my first visit - and I am very glad I found him. Wonderful, warm man.

Bottom line: Dr. Wexler cares about his patients and I feel very lucky to have found him.

I waited two months to see this doctor with a seious problem which is normal as a new patient. When I finaly had the appointment I had to wait 2 hours to see the doctor in the waiting room. He was nice at the appointment. THE PROBLEM is there was NO follow up. He did not treat the problem nor would he contact me back with any sort of result. getting medical records? Forget it the staff is unprofessional with everything but the worst part is the doctor doesnt care to help the patient even if its a serious health issue. I have caled to try to get the update for over a month on medical records and not only is Jason Wexler not calling me back he is getting the message and deciding not to help me when I am having a health problem. I am a reasonable professional and in no way asking for anything else other than his expertise as a doctor in getting my records and helping to diagnose me or send me to someone else who can. I am reporting this to the state board. I have never heard of a doctor as disconnected and heartless.

Dr. Wexler is the very best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He listens! He investigates! He communicates! If you are looking for the very best endocrinologist. Go to see him. You will not be disappointed. I give him a 10+!!!!!

I recently had my first appointment w/ Dr. Wexler and was extremely impressed. His staff was friendly, and I was shocked when 5 minutes after checking in the nurse called my name and we got to work! Dr. Wexler himself was the most personalized physician I have ever met, asking questions in a friendly and sensitive, but still straightforward way. I left the office knowing the next steps and our game-plan in terms of improving my condition. He even followed up by phone to ensure my lab records are transferred to him for review. I've never gushed about a doctor's visit, but he's really the best.

Dr. Wexler was wonderful with my diagnosis. He was caring and walked me through all of my imaging and blood work. I felt great about it.

Dr. Wexler is so smart. He is aware of lots of research, understands my rare disease, and is so caring. He spent so much time with me and paid special attention to answer every single one of my questions. Then, when my bloodwork came in he called me personally and explained the results and told me what would happen next. I can't get over how fantastic he is!! I recommend him with my highest regard.

Dr. Wexler has a wonderful manner about him. On my initial consultation, he listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions with patience. He explained my condition in a way I could understand and presented all my treatment options with objectivity. On one occasion, he fit me into his schedule even though I didn't have an appointment that day, and he's answered my e-mails within 24 hours when I was confused about some symptoms. I'm really glad he's my doctor.
