Being a RN with 25+ years experience I can honestly say with my professional opinion Dr Chun is all you could ask for with regards to being a neurosurgeon as well as how you would expect your best friend to treat you. He is a class act and a gentleman. He will always get my referral.

Incredible Surgeon. Confident, with the ego, both of my Surgery's went very well, neck Surgery then lower back surgery. Both came out with no pain full movement no restrictions on movemcut my life back!!

He was very thorough went over everything with me. Took his time and explained what was going on with my neck and discs and how we would proceed. Had MRI done on lower back area which I have very much pain in (hurts the most) and wish we could have discussed that a little more so I knew what was going on with that.

Dr. Chun and his staff under same umbrella are God sent. He's logical and matter of fact. Gives you all options without any fluff, but if you have questions he patiently answers them. When you go home anything you forget you can email the staff and an answer or resolution will be delivered in a timely manner. I can to him during a dark time and he always reassured that my goals will be fought for. I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Chun. What I can say is he is a good Neurosurgeon and he won't give up you.

Dr. Jay Chun was very kind to interrupt his vacation to come over for performing spine surgery on me. He explained my condition in details and described his plans to correct the condition in my spine for alleviating the pain. The results are successful as I do not have any nerve pain.

I read some of the other reviews with one star. that's a you problem people. Dr. Chun clearly has his patient's best interest in mind, speaks straight, and changed my life. I went back to racing off road motorcycles, martial arts, and the gym. You get out of it what you put in. Listen to him and do what he says.

Great Surgeon.

Very successful outcome. He changed my life. No cages rods or fusions. He just went in there and fixed 20 years of pain in one operation. He was nice and on time for all of my office visits.

My first post-op visit I waited two hours. Symptoms were worse after surgery and Dr Chun did not supply me with any knowledge as to what may be the cause only handed me drug prescription . My second post-op appointment I waited one hour and forty five minutes. My symptoms were unchanged and he was very dismissive. He spent six minutes with me and was not helpful in addressing my concerns, or more importantly offering me advise as to how to proceed. He did not even give me time to speakbefore he raced out of the room.

The “Doctor” didn’t even come into the room. He told me that before he operated I would have to visit an Infectious disease doctor because of sone sores on one finger. He never looked at my finger but was going on his assistant’s observations. He also assumed that my condition can only be remedied by an operation even before the MRI results. I am not going back and will complain to my insurance about payment fir a non visit.
