At about 50, I started feeling very sad about how I looked. My was developing a “turkey neck, sagging skin on under my chin and at my neck. by the time I was 55 this year, it bothered me so much that I started looking for any option. A consultation with Dr. Jeannie Chung, and her wonderful office staff manager Julie, they gave me the confidence to have the neck lift. It felt expensive, but in fact was the best thing I ever did! If you are thinking of any face work, I recommend you go to the woman who is the expert in faces. Dr. Chung only does faces and necks, and she is an artist! She has a special sensitivity with women and their expectations and was delightful thru the whole process. The clinicians at the surgical unit at Boson Eye & Ear were also fantastic! After this procedure, I honestly look 10 years younger but still like me. In the end, feeling happy about how you look is priceless!!

Dr. Chung and her staff were exceptionally warm, professional and thorough. Everything went exactly as was outlined from the initial consultation through the post op visits. I work in the conservative professional field dealing with clients every day. For the past 20 years, I have been helplessly looking in the mirror watching my sagging jaw lines and drooping eye lids. But I did not have the courage to take action because I was too afraid such delicate facial surgery would be noticeable. Finally when I turned 55, I started to look into cosmetic surgery. Being a perfectionist, I researched extensively and visited several highly rated doctors in the area and after a very lengthy discovery period, Dr. Chung stood out clearly as the best for the following reasons: She has a sterling reputation in this extremely critical arena where slightest mistakes are not forgiven. She is highly skilled and extremely knowledgeable in her profession. This coupled with her patience and compassion while standing firmly on her professional integrity even after multiple exhaustingly "interrogative" meetings were surpassing. It's been about 7 months since I had a mini face lift, neck surgery and eye lids surgery performed by Dr. Chung. I have been so pleased with the result; I look so natural, there are no hints of any work done to my face. Furthermore, on a daily basis, people close to me say â??You look so pretty today!" "You look so refreshed!" "You look so young!" Dr. Chung has very delicate fingers, in reference to her "natural looking" work, I called it "God-like" as in "natural creation". As an added surprise, her care and dedication during and after the surgery was something I never expected. It is not often that we encounter such talented medical professional who is so down to earth and genuinely caring. I have several meetings since the surgery and I feel so fortunate to have met this bright eyed, ever smiling energetic, extremely talented and caring person! Thank you Dr. Chung!!!

Dr. Chung is a very professional, very skilled plastic surgeon. I followed her advice and was extremely pleased at the natural looking results after plastic surgery. Also, any potential patient might be interested in the fact that prior to my surgery, I was told by several nurses on the hospital staff that when they had any plastic surgery, they chose Dr. Chung, because they were familiar with the quality of her work. I consider myself very fortunate to have found Dr. Chung and would highly recommend her.

I was very nervous for my first visit to a plastic surgeon! The office was beautiful and the staff made me feel very comfortable. I really felt that Dr Chung listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. I've had a few different treatments in the office. First Dr Chung used Botox and Restalane and it really made a big difference! I've also done three Pelleve treatments by their esthetician, Marni. I will continue to visit the office and will send all my friends there!!

Its been a year since I had Mohs surgery followed by Plastic surgery on my upper lip. I was diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma by my dermatologist. It was difficult to diagnose because it didn't look like anything on the outside but I could feel something under the skin. By the time we did a biopsy right at my cupid's bow and discovered I had skin cancer, the lesion was the size of a penny covering both my upper lip and the white skin above. I was horrified, and terrified, and started doing research. My dermatologist recommended Mohs surgery and I wanted to have plastic surgery immediately following. Everything I read confirmed that the best way to remove skin cancer is with Mohs surgery, especially on your face. And the best choice for the repair was plastic surgery immediately following. But it seemed impossible to schedule it that way- the plastic surgeons could only be scheduled the following day at best! Then I ran into a friend of mine who recommended Dr Jeanie Chung - she called her an artist who was willing to work in cooperation with a Mohs surgeon. During my first visit I knew I made the right choice. Dr Chung scheduled the Mohs surgery with a highly rated Mohs surgeon whose office is practically across the street from hers, and was prepared to stand by to do the repair the same day. After Dr. Chung closed what even she considered a large opening in my face that spanned both my upper lip and the white skin above, she offered me a mirror to inspect her work. I nearly jumped out of the chair into her arms I was so relieved. I could tell she had done an amazing job. Here I am a year later and very thankful I discovered Dr. Chung, an EXTREMELY talented and compassionate plastic surgeon who demonstrates her commitment to her patients well being in every way!

I'm a nurse practitioner so my criteria was based on my satisfaction with the medical safety as well as the results. I was completely impressed by Dr Chung on both scores. She runs a very professional office. She makes suggestions for improvement but does not push. She leaves it completely up to the patient to decide how much and what treatments to opt for. I've been delighted with how I look now. People tell me I look great and that's how I feel.

Going to Dr. Chung was a very unique experience. Not only is she the ultimate professional, her staff is also. I am not one who enjoys going to the doctor yet Dr. Chung and her staff made each visit a pleasant experience.

I met Dr Chung about 3 years ago, she was recommended to me by a dermatologist. I was a bit shy about having some cosmetic procedures done and I was immediately put at ease by Dr Chung's easy going yet professional manner. The results results thus far have been wonderful , gradually erasing years off of my face, it's amazing. Not immediately obvious, yet life changing! She is truly a professional & artist. The staff is equally professional. Best part...hasn't broken the bank. My only regret, wish I met her sooner!

I found Dr.Chung by doing careful research. I had been using fillers and botox for 5 years before I became Dr. Chung's patient. When I began my search for a new doctor, I specifically wanted a board certified plastic surgeon who specialized in the face. Dr Chung's credentials were very impressive. The next step was to meet Dr. Chung personally to be sure that I would feel comfortable with choosing her as my doctor. From that first meeting 3 years ago, I have been so pleased with her work. She is both a competent scientist and a gifted artist. Her "bedside manner" is great. I always feel welcome and comfortable. I like that I can ask her to recommend procedures that will improve my appearance. Sometimes I'm not really sure what I need, but I just want to look better. Because she's an expert in the face, she is able to pull it all together and make make subtle, natural improvements. The compliments I receive often are "you have great skin" and "no way, you're 52". Visits to her office are always pleasant. I never feel rushed or made to wait. Dr. Chung's office staff are wonderful women that make you feel as welcome and comfortable as Dr. Chung herself. I have recommended Dr.Chung to friends and clients, and will continue to do so.

I met Dr. Jeannie Chung a few years ago. Being a professional woman I have always wanted to look my best. I felt that the aging process was taking over. We started with fillers and botox. What I liked was that Dr. Chung always made me look natural, never did anyone ever ask if I was getting Botox. This year we had a consultation and it was time for some surgery. I had surgery this year and I couldn't be more pleased. I was nervous but Dr. Chung and her staff made me feel very comfortable and safe. Dr. Chung was with me every step of they way. She told me exactly what she was going to do and how I would be after the operation. Dr. Chung performed my neck lift 5 months ago and I couldn't be happier with the results! About 3 years prior to my surgery a local plastic surgeon had performed an over zealous liposuction procedure on my neck and chin, tearing and damaging the muscles and removing much too much fat. He left me with a neck that looked 30 years older than the rest of me. At our first meeting, which lasted over an hour, Dr. Chung examined me carefully, listened to me, and recognized immediately what the situation was. She was kind, empathetic, and very professional. She explained and described the procedure, what I would experience every step of the way, and what I could realistically expect in terms of results. In fact, she under promised and over delivered. The surgery took 4 1/2 hours, more than twice as long as the average neck lift because Dr. Chung had to meticulously repair all of the torn and damaged muscle. Dr.Chung called me that night at home to see how I was doing and then saw me in her office the next morning which was a Saturday. She and her wonderful staff took very good care of me. Wait time in the office is minimal and Julie and Josephine make you feel like an honored guest. The office is elegant, serene, and very comfortable. I can't recommend Dr. Chung and her staff any more highly. Dr. Chung is truly an artist and a very lovely person. PS Just had Restylane injections in my cheeks and nasolabial folds and did not have one bruise. The results are extremely natural. I would trust Dr. Chung with any procedure that she performs.

Dr. Chung treated me with Botox and I couldn't be happier. I had never had any cosmetic treatments before and she was wonderful. I no longer have the deep lines between my eyebrows and overall I appear younger! I will stay with Dr. Chung and follow her recommendations so stay looking natural and young forever!!!

I have gone to Dr. Chung for my facial cosmetic needs for several years now. I moved to NYC 3 years ago yet make special trips to Boston 2-3x/year primarily just to see her! I am a professional actor and model in NYC and people routinely underestimate my age by 10 years, thinking I am still a student. I have been modeling since I was a teenager, and have seen probably a dozen cosmetic dermatologists and plastic surgeons in multiple cities over the course of my career thus far--and Dr. Chung is hands-down the best. Her work is subtle and natural and also she really takes the time to discuss what you want and how to get it. She also gives great second opinions, and I am forever grateful that she steered me away from some unnecessary procedures suggested by other doctors.

Great Doctor! I went to Dr. Chung to see if she could fix my lower lids after they were done by another well known plastic surgeon in Boston and left with sagging lower lids which looked ugly. After interviewing and researching a few other doctors to see who I connected with and more importantly who understood my concern and if and how it could be fixed I met with her and was very impressed with her overall in every area. This was a more difficult fix due to my indivdual situation other doctors I spoke with were more leary of touching my eyes again however, she was confident she could make them look better with some caution. Day of surgery she was great, just some local around my eyes, she was very gentle, but more importantly did a Great Job! I highly recommend her and trust her.
