Dr Petrie is just the best. He … now get this… actually listens AND takes his time with you! You never feel rushed. He never makes you feel unimportant. It’s just rare and I hope he never loses that quality.. Oh and he’s an incredible surgeon who helped me walk without pain for the first time in forever

I’ve had both knees and both hips replaced by this stellar surgeon. His bed side manner and attention to detail is impeccable. He has replaced my mother’s hip and both knees of my best friend. If you or someone you love needs his services I would recommended him 1000%. I am back to playing a very high level of tennis and feel amazing. Dr. Petrie was recommended by a friend who he had done 2 Hip Replacements for. My friends recovery was so good that he was playing basketball after his surgeries. I chose to visit Dr. Petrie as both of my hips were in severe need of replacement. On the consultation he was a class act. His response when I asked about how experienced he was sealed my decision to move forward. I will never forget his answer, 'I've done a few surgeries (with a smile), actually I do about 500 a year, 250 hips/250 knees.' In addition I also learned that he is the specialist that other surgeons refer to when their replacements don't go well. Incredible bedside manners. Awesome support team. I had my 1st hip replaced in Sept 2022 and 2nd in April 2023. One of my legs was longer than the other. He actually evened that out! My recovery has been incredible. No more hip pain, range of motion is back, and I am able to resume all of my normal activities. On a scale of 1-10 he & his team get a 10! Thank you Dr. Petrie!

Dr. Petrie has performed multiple surgeries on me. I was referred to him for the first surgery when I spiral fractured my femur in my left leg while waiting for a fouth knee revision from a different surgeon. Dr. Petrie developed a thoughtful and thorough care plan for the repair of the fracture and a follow up surgery to install the revision of the fourth total knee. His forward thinking and problem solving plan buildt a custom fourth knee that allows me to live my life with minimal physical limitations. I have since used him for a total hip replacement on the same leg. I cannot say enough about his technical expertise and compassioate care. I have referred several others to him for joint replacement and all have been equally impressed.

Dr. Petrie did an amazing job. He listens to his patients, explains the procedure clearly and takes the time to answer your questions. He has a great bedside manner and is upbeat and positive. This is the guy to use.

I had my right knee replaced by Dr Petrie. I felt totally comfortable from my first office visit. Dr Petrie and his team did an amazing job and they were with me, checking on me and encouraging me during the whole process.

Tomorrow it will be 7 days since my total right hip replacement with Dr. Petrie.at Advent Winter Park. The procedure was outpatient, and I was home the same day. I already have less pain than I did before surgery. I am using my walker, as instructed but I am already reducing the amount of narcotic pain medication I'm taking. It's sore, but it's healing sore, not injury sore. Incredible. (As a side note, Dr.Petrie will also be replacing both of my knees over the next year, and I trust Dr. Petrie 1000%.) Dr. Petrie is a wonderful surgeon and a kind person...something you don't really see in a surgeon of his caliber. He's young (to me, all of the doctors look young...I'm 62), smart, kind, and thoughtful, (and did I mention very easy on the eye's?) Dr. Petrie called to check on me several times in the 2 days following surgery. I also discovered a HAND WRITTEN thank you note in my bag when I got home.) My only hesitation in my 5 star rating is that he will be so popular, he won't have time for me anymore. LOL. I give Dr. Petrie, and Rothman Orthopedics my highest rating. If I could give a million stars, I would do so. Dr. Petrie promised to give me back my life, and I can honestly say that I believe him! I really appreciate Doctor Petrie. He did an amazing job surgically replacing both my arthritic hips. I can do all all the usual activities that I enjoy doing on a daily basis. The hips feel so good and they function perfectly. He treats you like family and is an awesome surgeon!
