Dr. Jeffrey Sabloff, MD

I am Francis E. Wallace, and I had a Telecom Facetime Appointment with Dr. Sabloff on 21 May 20, approximately 2:00PM at his Waldorf Office. After my appointment, Dr. Safloff said that one of his office staff would be contacting me with what I needed to do and make any further appointments. I waited until 6:00PM, and no call. At 8:30 PM that night (21 May) I received a call from Giant Food asking for my Insurance information to process a prescription for me. No one asked me where I receive my prescriptions from, so Dr. Sabloff/Office Staff assumed that I received my medications from Giant Food. In fact, I am retired military, and receive my medications from Bolling Air Force Base, which can receive electronic prescriptions from MedStar. Next I was not told about Physical Therapy. I received a call on the morning of 22 May 20, telling me that they had a referral for Physical Therapy, and someone would be notifying today, to set up an appointment. It would have been nice to know that a referral was being put in for Physical Therapy. I spent most of the day on 22 May, trying to talk to someone at Dr. Sabloff’s Office concerning these issues. Finally, someone called me back at 3:00PM and said that she would call Dr. Sabloff and ask him to re-send my prescription to Bolling. Hopefully, someone will contact me when this is done. This has been a very frustrated two days.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sabloff's for a little over 8 years. He has preformed several different knee surgeries on me because my knees are so bad. I have to say he always took care of me. I love his beside manner. He never made me feel like I was just a patient, he made me feel like I was a friend of his.

Saw Dr Sabloff 3 times after a severely sprained ankle. Never spent more than a few minutes speaking to me. Told me no MRI or PT necessary. Wrong on both accounts. Now I'm headed to PT after a second opinion and possibly surgery due to his lack of attention.

after having what I thought, was a meniscus tear fix, I did not get better, actually got worst. mentioned this to Dr. Sabloff at every follow-up appt. he simply state that he removed a lot of arthritis. after my insurance (global period) allowed me to seek another dr, I was told I had a meniscus tear. (hmmm, thought Sabloff fixed this) sch'd for a second surgery (it's less than 4 months later). before this surgery, I sought another second opinion, with a third orthopedic surgeon who states the MENICUS WAS NEVER REPAIRED!!!! my pre-op MRI and my post-op mri (ordered by second orthopedic) were identical, regarding the meniscus. completely upset, I went to Sabloff's Waldorf office to speak to him, he wasn't there, but was told by manager he would give me a call. if he forgot what surgery he was doing, at that time, I would have been more understanding. however, I was totally ignored when I repeatedly told him, I was 400% worst then before surgery. I refused injections, he shook my hand and apologized that he could no longer help me.

Dr. Sabloff did my knee replacement 2 months ago and it's been an incredible experience! He did an incredible job and I already see a difference in my knee. He's very kind and caring and back office staff is the best. I wouldn't see anyone else and am already planning my next knee replacement!

I can tell by the office and the doctor that this office is VERY busy and over booked! I was prepared and visited the office the day before to do the paper work. The next day I still had to fill in with their ipad thing. My wait STILL in the waiting room was over an hour until I got up and asked. I waited yet another 10 minutes and waited yet another 20 minutes in the back. The nurse put my xray up then turned to me and asked what I was in for. I replied to her she was looking at it and pointed to the xray. Dr. Sabloff came in and started to talk and then realized he didn't introduce himself. Nice touch but do that first thing as you walk in to look sincere. My priority is not bedside manner, but for others it may be. I tried to let him know everything about my shoulder and then he asked me about my knee. I told him I was in for the shoulder because I was going through workman's for that. He seemed to be more interested in the knee. I had to reiterate I was not in for the knee and I pointed to his sign on the wall stating that one issue per visit so to speak. I was trying to follow their rules. To make a long story short I don't feel he read my chart because it states I am allergic to aspirin and ibuprofen. They called in a prescription to a pharmacy which was not mine. When that pharmacy called I asked them about the medication. I told that pharmacy I was allergic to aspirin and ibuprofen. It was sent to me the next day and I read the insert. I called the office and they did not call me back. While I was out I spoke with a PA about the medication. She then asked me if I ever took Aleve. I said no. She then started asking people behind the desk do we have any Aleve. She grabbed an open bottle and I told her again I was allergic to such things. She almost gave me that open bottle, but held back. Good thing she did because that is a no no! I went home fuming and called back to talk to the doctor himself. This was that serious. I didn't get a call until the next day and a person on the other end told me she spoke with the doctor and he wanted me to try the medication. I waited until my husband came home and told him what I was going to do. I told him how much I was taking and showed him. I quartered the pill and took it. About a half hour my symptoms broke loose! Breathing issues, coughing, body felt like I took some pain type medication so my muscles felt relaxed, nose swelled up (blew my nose for over an hour and a half!), and eyes watered. The effect lasted from 7pm till 10:30pm. I asked my husband to stay up just in case and got dressed to go to the ER. I was relieved I did not. 2 days after I called them about this incident I finally got a call. I called for 2 days and finally I just called the appointment desk to talk to an actual person. Finally I got a call. I feel like I am just another body that comes through this office. I feel the whole office personnel failed which gives this doctors rating pretty much a below average rating. If you do go in for an appointment and see the entire waiting room filled......WALK! I can't speak to the other doctors in that office. This practice just seems way to busy! They have been in business for many years too. I'm not here to slam their business. I am just letting you all know my experience. I am seeking another doctor. Dr. Patricia Turner is excellent. My husband is going to her. I only went to this practice because my doctor sent me there. One more thing! You will never ever get to speak with your doctor on the phone. Why.....he's to busy. They email one another and then his person calls you back.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Sabloff's and happened across this web-site. I LUV Dr. Sabloff. He is busy, but there is a reason why he's busy. He's the BEST!!! I've had several surgeries and would never dream of letting anyone else touch me.

My aunt had surgery with Dr. Sabloff in the early 90's so I had a good recommendation to see him. When I visited the office, I was in the exam room waiting for him and I could overhear him on th ephone telling his stockbroker he could afford any size boat he wanted. During his examinstion of my arm, I felt like he was totally distracted on his boat and didn't even make eye contact with me.
