Dr. Jeffrey Adam Bash, MD

After injuring my back in June of 2022, Dr. Bash tried everything to keep my off the operating room table. We did cortisone shots, PT, and even a chiropractor. Unfortunately nothing would relive the sciatic nerve pain I was feeling every day. The disc between L4 & L5 was pressing on the nerve. Finally in January we decided on a discectomy. Best decision I have a made, the nerve pain was gone. Dr. Bash and his PA Matt were great every step of the way. Thank you both, Scott Haddad

I went to Dr. Bash Office because I was recommended by a previous patient of the doctor. So With x-rays it was recommended a lumbar fusion. Dr. Bash explained all the risk and what the procedure consisted of. Even with covid around and risking his safety because I contracted covid from first Hospital stay and surgery. But he had to finish his procedure to complete fusion. The next two surgeries went great and I really felt no pain and felt comfortable in the hands of all his medical staff. My only complaint was how they ripped the grounding pad of my back and scared my back. But very little complaints. I am seven months post operations and I am getting back to construction. I highly recommend Dr. Bash and Dr. Rodriguez for great care and for being great people in general. Thank you all of DR. Bash's team. I haven't felt this solid in 20 years.

Dr. Bash did a double fusion at L4-L5-S1. I had been dealing with a bad back for many, many years. I opted for the two surgery approach - anterior approach (through the abdomen) to install cages and plates, followed a month later by a posterior approach to install screws and a clamp. After years, I finally feel like I have a back I can depend upon. No more sciatic pain. I can stand and sit without pain devloping (I used to not be able to sit for any extended period). I can do the activities I enjoy (hiking, swimming, and bicycling - I am still restricted from getting into my kayak but I feel confident that when that restriction is lifted, I will be able to pursue that hobby as well.) Dr. Bash does keep interesting office hours (I have had 6am appointments) and he can get backed up. However, I found him to be responsive and willing to take the time with you to answer your questions, even if he was backed up. (There was at least one appointment where he was running behind, and I know I contributed to making the back up worse with all my questions, but he did not make me feel rushed or guilty - just answered them all well.) Bottom line - he is an excellent surgeon and knows what he is doing. I am very pleased with my results.

I am a former employee and this man is the worst human being and doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Stay away.

Dr Bash replace three discs in my back 5 years ago and I have not looked back since. If I had not done the surgery I would be wheelchair-bound. If I could give him a 6 I would give him a 6 if I could give him a 10 it would be a 10

I started seeing Dr Bash when I was 13 yrs old because of an ATV accident I was in. He performed surgery to remove a disc and get pressure off my nerve. A few years later I reruptured the same disc and he performed the same surgery. I then reruptured it again and had it fused. I had a work injury and ruptured 3 discs in my neck that he fused. I then had another work injury and my leg went numb and fell so he performed another surgery. Dr. Bash has performed 5 spinal surgeries on me. Before each surgery using conservative treatment of injections, therapies, and medication then when I couldn’t stand it anymore doing surgery. He has been my surgeon for 20 years! Last year, I moved out of state. Of course I started have more back/leg pain so I tried finding an orthopedic doctor/surgeon around me and kept being told excuses and referred to the next. I sent my films back to my Mom in CT and she brought them to him. He checked them out and called me! What a great Surgeon I could never say enough positive stuff about him. He has saved my quality of life as well as my sanity. Yes, you may have to wait in the waiting room or exam room for a bit but he is so worth the wait!

He put me back together and gave me hope of a productive life ....I couldn’t be happier

Thank you for giving me my life back. After my L5-S-1 herniation I was suffering from severe low back pain, leg pain, and neuropathy for years. Post treatment by you and your office. I am able to resume daily functions pain free! I'm in my early 40's with a busy life. This injury really set me back. You and your team did everything to accommodate me on my road to recovery. I still can not believe how wonderful the surgery went! It really was life changing! From the moment I woke up in recovery I have not any legs pains. You are amazing! Your staff is amazing everyone from Matt, Dana, Jerry, your MA's and the fantastic Physical Therapy Staff. I can not Thank you enough you are a wonderful surgeon!

Dr Bash is the best! As an avid equestrian i spent countless hours in the saddle and working with horses. This coupled with poor choices as a youngster left my back in tremendous pain. I saw Dr Bash at the recommendation of my primary care doctor and have been a happy patient ever since. He exhausted all other options in managing my pain before recommending surgery. And once the decision was made to perform my fusion he made sure that all of my questions were answered and that I knew exactly what the surgery and recovery process entailed. And I am happy to report that at almost 3 months post op i am feeling better then i have in years!! And i owe that to Dr Bash.

Failed at fusing my spine.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bash's for three years. I am so grateful for his wonderful care. Dr. Bash is conservative when it comes to surgery. His recommendations for injections, physical therapy and hydrotherapy as well as medication worked for me for a few years. It seems like a long time but I was the one resistant to surgery. When we both agreed that it was time as nothing was working any longer he explained the surgery to me several times until I thoroughly understood and was comfortable. Yes, as others have mentioned, at times I did have to wait a long time in the examining room but I know it was because other patients needed more time and when I needed more time Dr. Bash generously took that extra time to answer my questions. Once surgery was scheduled Dr. Bash made certain all precautions were taken to ensure a successful outcome. He even got me to successfully quit smoking by explaining the negative impact of nicotine on bone growth and recovery!! His team is outstanding, especially his surgical coordinator, Dana who stays on top of absolutely everything. She is a gem! Dr. Bash treats me like a member of his family. Plus he has a great sense of humor, puts me at ease and I have every confidence in him.

Dr. Bash performed my surgery which was a two disc fusion on my lower spine. I am happy to say I feel great. Even though I was given 6 to 8 weeks for recovery at home, I was was back to work after 4. I felt my stay should have been a little longer in the hospital (I don't think 2 1/2 days was enough), but that was because of insurance and not Dr. Bash or the hospital. I was able to move around so much during the first week I was home that the visiting physical therapist and occupational therapist discharged me from their care and sent me to outpatient facilities for therapy. Dr. Bash gave me my quality of life back. He is conservative and does not rush to cut. He tried many non-surgical methods first until I could no longer stand the leg pains. At that point, he agreed surgery was the best option. I am so glad I had the surgery. My legs are pain free. Yes, you wait a bit to see him in the office, but he is worth the wait. His PA and staff are all great.

Dr Bash and his entire staff are par excellence! Dr. Bash has been treating me for over 12 years. Dr. Bash is not surgery happy. He has been giving me epidural shots which have made me an active person. There is no one else I would allow to touch my back. His PA Dr. Fernandez has a great doctor/patient manner. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Bash and his office I highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Dr. Bash for all you do to help me and keep me free of surgery.
