Dr. Jeffrey Peter Carley, DO

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Carley since he opened his office in Kings Mountain. He is an amazing Dr. Great personality, professional, and caring.

Not responsive to patients needs. We called with a question for my mother who is a longtime patient and they never called us back. Always have to leave a message with the likely hood that you'll never get a return call. Cannot not speak to a nurse or MA! Unprofessional to say the least. Hoping to convince mom to get a new doctor.

Excellent care. Have been a patient since Dr. Carley open his office in Kings Mountain. He. Is very concerned about my care and take time to listen and explain my question so I understand my treatment. Very professional.

Dr Carley may not be known for his bedside manner, but he has stood by me, fighting the insurance companies that wanted to force me to go to work when I was unable to walk due to my knees being bone on bone, and allergic to all pain meds, my hands were wrapped due to the pain I was having in them, and some pretty tough emotions in play due to all that pain. He has researched to try to find a med I can take, he has done more than most Dr.'s would have taken the time to do, just because he really wanted to help a 60 year old woman who needed help. So I don't care if he comes in once in awhile not all smiles, and I may have to wait an extra 15 or 20 minutes, I know it's because he is taking time with others who need his help just like I do.

Dr. Carley is the best Dr. I have ever went to , He has been my Dr. for 8 Years Now , One of the BEST AROUND !

Carley's patients are older adults. I went to him for over 10 years and thought he was pretty thorough. I saw him twice a year which included a blood test each visit. On my last visit my PSA was 39. I found that Carley had not requested a PSA test for the last 5 years. I now take radiation treatments and hormone therapy for high risk prostate cancer which could have been found years earlier at low risk with more frequent PSA tests like other doctors. When asked why he tested at 5 year intervals his reply was "The doctors just starting practice will not be checking PSA at all and you will see many more men dying of prostate cancer in the future". Like he did me a favor. Carley is on longer my doctor.

This doctor will not see you if you take any pain meds or nerve meds So if you really need a doctor this one really is not one

I was a patient of dr carley when he was in Dr Blackburns office in Fl. He was the most caring and kindest doctor I've ever known! It's so shocking to hear the reviews in North Carolina. He was my doctor when I had cancer, he called me I wasn't home he left his home # for me to call him back, he referred me to Dr Palmer who is the very best Surgeon, then he referred me to the New Hope Cancer Center Dr Li and Dr Sokol the absolute best doctors ever. He spent at least an hour with me and would not let me leave until he was satisfied I told him everything I wanted to, I can't say enough how caring he was. When he was my doctor I had the absolute best care. Thank you Dr Carley!

We started with Carley the day he opened his practice... He is a kind and gentle doctor... some kind of missunstanding with a bill occured and he staff said he would not see me anymore..... I can't see him knowng about this and letting this happen....if he does shame on you also Dr. Carley...if not your staff will be leading you to the poor house. Lost (2) patients in one day!

This Dr has been my primary physician for over 4 years. Last year his bookkeeper threw me out of the office over a $50 bill. This dr apparently needs more money than cares about his patients. He never contacted me. I asked for more meds, he ignored me until I paid. I will never go back to a Dr that is more interested in my $50 than in my welfare.

I appreciate his directness and he as been amazing with both my kid and parents. Very good doctor with all ages and genders. Diagnosed me correctly when specialists missed it.

I liked Dr. Carley, but there was a time I chose to see a specialist and they discharged me due to that. They said when you see someone else it is considered self discharge, but I have the right to see a specialist, which I needed because I ended up having surgery. Anyway, when I tried to call them back to explain, Dr. Carley's wife, who I have never met, sent me the message it is their practice and they do not have to justify. Will never be seen there again. I have heard of this behavior towards other people also. Won't last long in Kings Mountain.

I like Dr. Carley OK. He's a good Dr. However as long as you have to wait to see him, he is in and out quick. I don't think he listnes to what all I have to say at times. The nurses are amazing. I have witnessed him being very ugly to one of them during a visit. He was ill mannered with me too. I don't think a Dr should yell at someone for writing his prescriptions wrong when he should be writing them, not the nurse. The girl at the front desk is rude, and pays more attention to her cell phone. I waiting almost 2 hours one day, she was so busy texting she forgot me I think. Not very professional.
