no one compares to this doctor. Exclamation he goes way beyond and what he has to do. No one will ever touch me as a surgeon but him so he better not go nowhere. thank you for making my life better.

Upon entering the facility, I was greeted with a smile. I went in for a consultation for breast reduction surgery. The staff members were both friendly and professional. Dr. Diteshiem and team made sure to thoroughly explain the procedure as well as follow up care. I left the facility feeling confident in my decision to move forward with the process…I can’t wait to see my post-op results.

So I waited 9 months to write this, because I wanted to be fair and give every chance I could, but things never got any better, but worse. My experience with my Gynecomastia surgery by Dr. Ditesheim was awful. I would not recommend anyone with gyno to go there simply based on everything I had went through. This is a long explanation, but I want to cover everything so people will know what can and would go wrong. I never once felt like a cared for patient. I felt I wasted $7,000! Yes 7k. And you’ll see from this long list of issues, why I felt my money was wasted, the results could be way better other places for the same or less money and that money could have been spent somewhere that truly cares about the patient and backs their word. Never having experienced surgery before, I was very nervous. Especially since this was something that had bothered me since I was 18, getting gyno from supplements, now being 26 and still dealing with the results. This had been something I wanted to do and saved for, for a very long time. It started last year when I went in for the consultation. Nice office, warm welcoming so forth and so on. Once you get back there, you get all the hopes, dreams, and promises given to you right away. Dr. Ditesheim tells you everything he will do for you and says ‘itll look great’ ‘it’ll look great’ over and over. You go through his book that he has, showing you various results and past surgeries in the past and then telling you what yours will look like based on the surgery. He also explains how its painless, you’ll be back to yourself in a few days, and also, not having any noticeable scars. All my scars are noticeable and none of this was true. I was out of work for at least a week, twice! At first all of this seemed great! But, being in sales my entire life, I started to get that ‘salesman feel’ but trusted his word at the time based on reviews, his video he shows that features him on a medical show, his background, and where his office is located in a very nice area of Charlotte etc. I tried to take everything into account. I decided to think on it, and compare my options with other doctors in the area. Before I did (mistake on my part) I was contacted with a ‘limited time’ discount. Which, knowing the surgery was going to be expensive, $500 off wasn’t too bad, so I setup the appointment to move forward to take advantage of this offer. Once I got there for the consultation, the mood was definitely different. The sale had been made. I ask a lot of questions and I am always a curious person, especially when it comes to my body and someone performing surgery on me. Dr Diteshiem never seemed very warm or welcoming or even interested in my questions. It felt more like a sale, rather than an actual doctors office. All of my questions seemed to almost annoy him. He seriously seemed he did not care. Which, I get it. Surgeons have a certain way about them, but this guy really does not care. At least for me he didn’t. I guess I should have paid more attention to the amount of gyno reviews vs some of the other types of surgeries that are more popular. But those are the small details. Once we start talking about the surgery, I then get sold on anesthesia. Both him and the nurse promised me everything under the sun if I got the anesthesia. They mentioned it would be better for my anxiety. They said the doctor would have more time to preform, he could ‘sculpt’ the area better, and when people got anesthesia, he goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect since he has extra time and can truly ‘sculpt’ the chest. The anesthesia was an extra $1,000 but again, I got sold and I admit to that. So between then and the surgery I had a lot of questions that never seemed to get directly answered, or answered in a very round or vague way. I should have trusted my gut, but the process had started and I was this far in. The surgery roles around, it gets preformed, I get home and notice, wait, the gyno is still there. Come to find out, Dr Diteshiem did NOT remove the glands with a direct incision. Which he charged for. We had spoke about this countless times in person and in email. As most of you know, if you ask any doctor, or do a tad bit of research, lipo alone does not remove gyno directly. The knots have to be directly taken out. Especially in my case where they were so large. Again, which I paid to have removed. Once I find this out and ask was there an incision done, he says no, the lipo removed the glands. So now I have been charged money, promised a service and then literally lied to. After going in person and explaining I still had pain and showing him the knots were still there that can easily be seen and touched, he agreed to go back in and remove the gland as discussed and paid for (also like any other doctor would do or should have done the first time). Yet, never admitted being wrong, nor apologizing for any of this. He also made it seem he was doing me a favor for actually preforming the full surgery by reminding me how much it normally is for surgery and how I wasn’t being charged that again….. So now I am having to go in surgery AGAIN less then two months after the first, with no anesthesia. So basically the money spent on anesthesia was wasted, because I ended up having surgery without it. So post surgery, I take the bandages off. One side of my chest, around my nipple is caved in, the other side, my nipple is puffing out, but only half of the nipple is doing this. With the incision, it went directly though my nipple, not underneath the areola (like almost all Doctors do, besides him I suppose. Research it) So for months my chest and nipple stayed like that. The Dr promised it would get better and it did not. My right side now caves in whenever I flex my chest. On the left side, the puffy nipple did red

I have been seeing Dr. Ditesheim for over 18 years. His expertise in plastic surgery is phenomenal, and very evidence based. He is a perfectionist who strives to meet the PATIENT's desires and goals for their body transformation. His staff is very friendly and responsive to any needs or concerns. I recommend him wholeheartedly. Without a doubt, he is one of the elite plastic surgeons in the Charlotte area.

Dr. Ditesheim did a fantastic job on my secondary augmentation. My first augmentation was 14 years ago. They needed to look more natural. Dr. D help me to look more my age. And I am so pleased with the results. He communicates well. I am considering him for some further procedures.

I have been seeing Dr. Ditesheim periodically for several years now. The majority of my visits have been for Botox treatments. I have been EXTREMELY impressed and satisfied each and every time as although these treatments are not the higher cost and more complicated surgical procedures he offers, he still takes time to assure that he talks to me about my concerns, he thoroughly explains how he will be handling the injections and why, and just truly is all about educating me and making me look the best I can. I never feel like he is rushing me nor pressuring me into additional procedures or treatments, which would absolutely turn me off. I truly look at him as an artist and I will certainly look to him, in future, should I decide to complete any type of cosmetic surgery. In addition, his staff has always been helpful, friendly and wonderful to work with, most especially his Director of Patient Experiences, Janet Stanbro, who has been with him for years and helps assure that each visit is fabulous! I am so pleased that I found Dr. Ditesheim and his reliable staff when I was searching for what procedure would work best for me. i had a roll completely around the top of my jeans and my inner and outer thighs were also large and I would never have been able to exercise them down to where they are now. I look so much better in my clothes, pants especially and I am so very pleased with my results. I think Dr. Ditesheim is very caring and a good surgeon.

I was very pleased with my experience at Dr Ditesheim's office. His staff is very knowledgeable and extremely professional. I talked to numerous plastic surgeons about my concerns. I did not feel like I was being "sold" a service which was my experience elsewhere. Most importantly: my results are unbelievably natural looking. Me-- just SO SO much better. Aquashape liposuction has made me look so much better in my yoga pants. From start to finish, my experience with Dr. Ditesheim's office has been a pleasure. I was interested in significant lipo for some troublespots that wouldn't respond after significant weight loss and exercise. After comparing several consults, I was sold by Dr. Ditesheim's knowledgable and skillful discussion. In addition, shout outs go to the office girls, JJ, Susie and Jan, who were not only knowledgable and reassuring, but very accommodating with my hectic schedule. They went out of their way to schedule appointments and follow-ups to meet my needs. I was given every available way to contact them post-procedure, should I have had any concerns, and this was very comforting, although I had no need to call. The cost was very reasonable compared to my other consultations, which offered a more extreme procedure with a 3 month recovery time. My procedure went well, and I was able to return to my active and hectic schedule within days. I am now several months post op and I cannot believe what a difference this has made for me. Many thanks to all the staff [Dr D, Anesthesiologist, and all the Office Gals] for making this first time surgery patient very reassured and happy.

If you are considering these procedures you should consult with Dr. Ditesheim and his staff. They are great! He listens carefully to understand the specific areas you want to change. He recommends the best procedure for you. Scheduling the procedure is simple. They answer questions you have about the procedure to ensure you are comfortable with it. The staff is friendly. They care about you and your results. I am a very satisfied with the experience.

I had 4 consultations in total in the Charlotte area. Dr. Ditesheim was the only one who asked for medical clearance due to my history of clotting issues. Without this, I may have never known about my clotting disorder. He customized my surgery to ensure that it was as safe as possible. Dr. Ditesheim truly cares about the best result for each person and not a general fit for everyone. He made sure he understood my goals. His staff is incredible. Michelle (RN) is so caring and reassuring. I would recommend this practice to anyone and will continue to use them in the future.

Patient care is exceptional. I never feel rushed when meeting with Dr. "D" and I always feel that he offers the best solution for what concerns me. The entire staff is awesome.
