He is only the BEST, and I have greatest admiration for both him and his excellent skills. I would go back to him in a heartbeat, (and STILL MIGHT) ? but now live in Kansas, and it is somewhat inconvenient. DR. Larson is a fantastic surgeon, who performed my seventh back surgery to my lumbar area. This man is a Gifted healer. He fixed what others trashed and is a highly competent , technical doc who is surrounded by the best staff I have ever had the pleasure of knowing , I very much enjoyed the care of his assistant Holly and everyone in the office. I was injured on the job in Wyoming and have been covered by workers comp for seventeen years and the staff handled everything for me , and I am so grateful.

The nghtmare of Larson just keeps getting worse. I've heard from other would be patients, and not only does he discriminate against, and treat patients who have a work injury, but also wont accept medicare/medicaid. Larson and his staff are some of the most patronizing group of un-professionals I've ever dealt with. If you have questions about the "care" he is providing, you'd better not ask! I made that mistake and he went through the roof! Berated my husband and myself, and then told us to find a new doctor. I hadn't even gotten to question 2. This man has no business practicing. I will make a formal complaint with the proper agency. He is continuing to sabotage my workmans comp claim. I am so regretful for going to this doctor. A nice looking office means nothing when the people inside are so very unprofessional.

Dr. Larson performed my second neck fusion. He is direct and maybe a bit brisk, but I found him willing to address my concerns and answer questions. Dry sense of humor that I appreciate. Some of the follow up is completed by others, I would always prefer to see the doctor but it all worked out well.

I've read many of the previous reviews and with a few who had a bad experience with the Doctor, I agree that he is an excellent surgeon . However, with the exception of his assistant and nurses who are excellent, the two "lady's" and the office manager are very condencending, disrespectful and aarogant. They bait you into getting angry so they can ask you to leave. They are incompentant and try to make it look like it's your fault. This is the Mill Creek office. I think the office manager makes all the insurance decisions and runs this practice NOT the doctor.

Larson took off skiing with his family the day he performed a cervical fusion on my virile 68 year old father. He made himself unavailable to our concerns when Dad was unable to breathe, was choking constantly, and had spiked a fever of over 104 once we returned home. We took him immediately to the hospital where he had to stay for three days and it was surmised this hack had injured his windpipe and caused it to swell severely impeding his breathing. It was also found he had pneumonia before the surgery but since this hacks office had done no blood work close to surgery and within the required time frame they did the surgery anyway. But Dr. Larson' s ski trip could not be interrupted so we were left in the woefully inept and defensive hands of an office PA. My father has NEVER been the same. This guy is more interested in paying for his overhead than positive patient outcomes. Very impressive resume doc but so very long. In my experience great physicians do not need ones that long rather their patients outcomes and success rates speak for themselves. If you care about your health and long term success forgo this Dr. and his practice altogether. hide details

Dr. Larson is an outstanding surgeon and I speak from experience. My husband had two cervical fusion surgeries and was very pleased with Dr. Larson and his staff. So in 2007 when I was experiencing back pain Dr. Larson was my doctor of choice. He patiently drew pictures and explained that my spine was unstable and friction had caused a cyst on my spine, and we scheduled surgery. He removed the cyst and did a laminectomy. I recovered quickly and was pain free for several years. In 2014, I had reoccurring back pain and he recommended a fusion to stabilize the spine. The surgery again went well. Dr. Larson does minimally invasive procedures with several small incision and no bone graft for the fusion. I had very little pain immediately after the surgery and with physical therapy am now pain free. I have always found his office staff very helpful. The Doctor is a busy man with a huge stack of referrals but the timeframe for the office visits and surgery were very reasonable. I never felt rushed by either Dr. Larson or his PA. On the contrary, they spent as much time as I needed to understand the surgery and aftercare. I found Dr. Larson's bedside manner wonderful. He is relaxed and delightful with a great sense of humor and displays a sense of confidence that I appreciated. Most importantly, the hospital staff think very highly of him. I have since recommended him to friend and will continue to do so. He's the best!

Doctor Larson was a very concerned & caring physician. He made sure I was comfortable with everything he was doing. I would definitely refer anyone to him.

Dr Jeffrey Larson as well as Holly Moore have made such a difference in my life. With years of extreme back and leg pain, and little relief from shots, Dr Larson was able to perform my Spinal Fusion which has eliminated the years and years of back and leg pain. Both Dr Larson and Holly Moore have exceptional knowledge and skills, and fully explained all process and procedures in layman terms. They both showed very deep care and compassion for me. I would highly recommend anyone who has ongoing or unresolved back issues to reach out to Dr Larson and his staff. I am so thankful for what Dr Larson has done for me.

Dr. Larson came into my life during my emergency room visit a few years ago. I was confronted with a staph infection in my back which quickly infected the vertebrae. Ultimately I have 5 vertebrae fused together. Dr. Larson and his staff demonstrated care and comfort to my family during this time as well as continual visits during my hospital stay. I highly recommend his experience, service and trust.

Bedside manner... I consider Poor. 1. Spending enough time with me ...considered Poor...An mri was done pre-op and then he spent 5 minutes with me, explained my left arm could become paralysed unless I had the spinal fusion ASAP.He also told me to watch a utube video on the spinal fusion procedure.....HOWEVER...I was terrified when I woke up with an incision and bandage on my right hip..I was never informed any bone marrow would be extracted from my hip.2. Following up as needed after my visit I consider *Poor*..... Dr. Larson refused a f/u mri to check the status of my damaged nerves..... also he told me "I am not a neck psychiatrist and wanted nothing to do with my pre and post op meds... he also stated post- op "Atleast your head isnt falling off your neck"...... I find it very odd for him to say my left arm would be paralysed with out the surg. then only do an bone x-ray for follow up which only shows the allignment and status of bones. Unless he is psychic I and many other mds.... including my step-father who is also an MD told me having an mri is what is normally done to follow up nerve compression..etc..... as noted above, only an x-ray was given post-op.... I explained I am still having LEFT neck, arm, back pain.... his advice was for my to use 2 frozen dixie cups and rub them on my back for pain releif.... and of course then I remebered his earlier comment Dr. Larson about my pain status "I AM NOT A NECK PSYCHIATRIST.......If you would like to understand any of your pre and/or post op care... I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR. LARSON.3. I am rating him a one on a scale of 1 to 4 simply due to his sarcasim and poor follow care.MY STEP-FATHER IS AN M.D AND I AM A REGISTERED NURSE AND ALL OF THE ABOVE IS MY FREEDOM OF SPEECH OPINION.

I had a neck problem in the c-6 an C-7, when it suddenly hurneiated I was in surgery. hDr. J. Larson has a fantastic office with modern equpitment and I had my neck neck surgery and healed just as he parpaired me before getting into this. I actually watched a vided online before I ever went into surgery so I could think it over. I healed quickly, he told me what to expect and sure enough I felt the muscle pain in muscles spasams after surgery, but that made it eaiser because I was prepared mentally. He has done an energency back surgery on me once and I healed but that took time but it worked! He's great, and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Larson performed two back surgeries on me after stating that the x-rays/MRI images clearly showed bulgng/herniated lower lumbar discs. My situation never improved and I was in constant and considerable pain. I went to see a rheumatologist and within 10 minutes and a quick exam for mobility said he didn't even need an x-ray to figure out my problem was in my hips. I had hip surgery at NWOS in Spokane by Dr. Danielson and have been pain free ever since. After hearing stories from other patients of Dr. Larson I believe I am not an isolated case of unnecessary surgery by him. I would not trust this man.

Dr. Larson scheduled the pre surgery appointment with me and, prior to the scheduled appointment, they were well aware of the type of HMO insurance I had. I went to the appointment, met with the physician's assistant and left the appointment scheduled for surgery with Dr. Larson. We conversed for the next 2 weeks prior to surgery, then the office called me just prior to day of surgery and said the doctor decided he did not want to accept my HMO insurance because it was not worth his while for what the insurance would pay him for doing the surgery and only would accept cash to do the surgery. I scheduled the surgery with another doctor, had no insurance acceptance difficulties and had the surgery. Dr Jeffrey Larson sent me a $200.00 bill for the pre surgery consultation and turned it over to collections - I believe this is a very unethical practice and see that Dr. Jeffrey Larson only has financial payout interests in mind. In this situation, he should be more up front with patients about not wanting to accept HMO insurance reimbursement for surgeries.
