My husband and I recently had an appt with Dr Mair for injections. He was having a very busy day and had to fill in for another Dr. Even so, he took time to visit with us, give us our shots, and answer any questions we had. He did carpal tunnel surgery on my hand years ago and I was so surprised when he called me that night about 7PM to see how I was doing. Very thoughtful. We feel very comfortable with him and appreciate his knowledge, professionalism, and kind personality.

While fully explaining the reality of my knee replacements, Dr. Mair was responsive, encouraging and affirming throughout the surgery, recovery and rehabilitation process.

Dr Mair always takes the time to explain and talk to you about your issues or concerns. Never rushes you through your appointment - seems genuinely concerned about your surgery/ health . Very happy with Dr Mair as my surgeon .

I met Dr Mair on an emergency basis when I fell and my ankle had multiple factures. I was in surgery just a few hours after the fall and it coudnt have gone better. Dr. Mair visited me in the Ridgeview Medical Center every morning by 5:30 a.m. I asked him if he ever slept:) He was kind, attentive and answered all my questions. I was walking again a few weeks later painfree! He's the best! I now see him occassionally for hip and shoulder issues which we are managing successfully.

Dr. Mair has performed multiple knee surgeries on me including a recent knee replacement. I trust him completely. I highly recommend him. I also want to recommend the Excel Program for knee replacement. Care by staff and cost effectiveness can’t be beat!!!!!

From the beginning Dr Mair took the time to ask me questions so he could proceed with the most effective care. Facing surgery with a total rotator cuff tear, Dr Mair was both up front and honest with the whole procedure, with a very kind and caring manner, His whole staff took great care and time to explain everything and answered all our questions. He then saw our daughter for chronic knee pain and made her feel very much at ease, and a few months later our son saw him for his broken collar bone, all are doing great thanks to Dr Mair and his very wonderful staff at Ridgeview. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mair to my family and friends. He was punctual, informative and caring. I felt a lot better about my diagnosis after talking with him. He didn't try to push me into surgery and was patient with me while I pursued conservative measures. I will see him for any orthopedic problems--although he does specialize in shoulder.
