Dr. Schieb is awesome! I no longer hurt with everyday activities. He has been very caring and listened to my complaints and my concerns!

I saw this dr for a couple of years bcuz it was the only rheumatologist I could get in to see. EVERY appointment he had me undress completely. I had monthly infusions! And I was taking off of work to see him! My appointments took so much time! So glad I found a new doc!

I have been a patient of Dr. Scheib for more than 25 years. My Psoriactic Arthritis was progressively getting worse and worse. I had numerous joints that were inflamed and my mobility was significantly diminished. Dr. Scheib examined me and has been fantastically managing my treatment plans for these 25 years. I am still jogging 2.5 -3 miles several times a week. His wise and compassionate care has kept me from being crippled with arthritis. I and my family are very thankful for his long term care. VM

Worst doctor ever. It’s his way or the highway. If you’re only wanting to have your symptoms treated, talked to as if you are not capable of understanding, be disregarded or if you don’t mind leaving every appointment in tears and still in pain.... Dr. Schibe is YOUR guy. Please check any medical records from him. He puts false information such as refusing treatment and other nonsense. My primary care doctor was offended for me after reading the records from Dr. Schieb I couldn’t, ever again if he was the last physician standing.

Dr. Scheib has taken great care of me for over 10 years. He diagnosed my unusual condition and continues to keep track of my overall health by making sure I see all the other "ologists" when necessary. I appreciate his no nonsense approach while still taking the time to talk and listen to patient thoughts and concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Scheib!

I have been seeing Dr Scheib since moving to Tennessee in 1999.. this Doctor is straight forward with a heart of Gold. He listens, he understands, he spends the time with his patients as he needs to.. he is human and not God, therefore if he can't help your situation he will refer you to someone who can.. I would be devastated if he left East Tennessee . No one can replace him or his faithful nurse Pat..

Th good doc told my son (after visits on cructhes) that he was limited to what he could do for him because of his insurance. Tenccare

At my First Appt for swollen painful knee, he seemed informative sent me for MRI. Followup appt. He suggested he could remove fluid from my knee with insertion of needle to extract fluid however he was unsure if enough fluid could be removed since swelling had gone down in 2 wks since prior 1st visit. So I suggested we wait. He stated in medical report that I refused treatment!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Scheib’s for over 10 years now and have never been dissatisfied. He diagnosed my illness after my labs and X-rays were reviewed and after his examination. He is always on time and I’ve only had to wait 5-10 minutes to see him. His nurse Pat is very kind and goes so far as to retrieve labs and CT scans from other physicians’ offices for Dr. Scheib to review. The office requires that a patient arrive 15 minutes early for their appointment (as does all of my other Drs) so they can check you in, review new labs, any new X-rays, check weight and check blood pressure. This also allows Dr. Scheib to see patients at their scheduled times resulting in his punctuality high rating. I never feel rushed, all my questions are answered and he is very thorough in his exam. I would highly recommend Dr. Scheib

So many issues with this doctor and his nurse. The last straw is when I showed up for an 8am appointment at 7:56am and was turned away because I did not show up at 7:45 am for an 8am appointment. Anyone else confused about this? I drive 45 min to see this dr and was not about to reschedule with him. I will gladly find a new dr.

I have been a patient of Dr. Scheib's for about 26 years. He is always there for me even through my ups and downs. His advice is excellent and I don't think I'd be vertical at this time, if it were not for his excellent care. He is a Gentle Giant in his field and always tells it like it is. No what ifs, he has always been honest and straight forward always. Thank you.

I would like to say that Dr. Scheib has been great. He is very professional and has a great personality. He has helped me so much.... I would highly recommend him. His staff is also great.

Dr. Scheib certainly knows what he is doing. Am encouraged he feels that, in time, my problems will be controlled.

I had the good fortune of being accepted as a patient of Dr. Scheib. On my first visit he spent a lot of time with me and studied my lengthy file. He is focused on finding the correct diagnosis for his patients. I have never had any physician take my file home to read in the evening. He had a large number of labs done during the first visit. It confirmed what he already thought, that a diagnosis of Lupus by one of my other physicians had been in error. He explained how that can occur. I also was having severe pain my arms. I could not even take the bed cover off my arms due to the pain. This is under good control thanks to Dr. Scheib. Dr. Scheib suggested to me that another of my specialists might want to give me a RX which would help some problems. I asked the other doctor about it and was prescribed the RX which is helping me very much to manage some of the symptoms. I don't see Dr. Scheib as rude or arrogant. I see a doctor who cares about his patients and tries to give them the best medical care. He has always listened to me and has patiently answered my questions. I appreciate everything he has done for me.

Dr. Scheib has been the best Rheumatologist I have seen in several years. I had been to two other local rheumatologist before being treated by him. I was previously misdiagnosed by the other rheumatologist, but Dr. Scheib ran the necessary test to determine the best route for my treatment. He has always been courteous, professional, and has always taken the time to explain my treatment plan. He makes me feel relaxed and able to talk about any changes I feel may be needed. Since being under Dr. Scheibs care, I have been able to continue to improve my activities from the smallest details, such as brushing my hair to enjoying my hobby of hiking. Both were nearly impossible for me previously. Dr.Scheib even worked me in to be seen during an injury and never made me feel rushed or as if I were an inconvenience to his busy schedule. I appreciate him and his staff immensly and cannot speak highly enough of them and the level of care I receive

I saw the Dr on two occasions and felt the he was rude and arrogant. I will not be going back as he made me feel stupid and was ver impatient with me.

Dr. Scheib provided excellent care to my father when he was ill and had not trusted other physicians. He spent a great deal of time explaining my father's disease to him and our family. Dr. Scheib knew what was wrong with my Dad and my father trusted Dr. Scheib without any doubt. He made sure Dad knew how to take his medications and what each medicine was doing. He gave my father a complete physical and was very thorough with his medical care. My father was a very intelligent man. Dr. Scheib was respectful and so kind to my Dad. Within a week my father was back to doing the activities he loved doing and it was because Dr. Scheib correctly diagnosed what was wrong with my father. My Dad was once again able to enjoy his life again. Dr. Scheib also called my father several times to discuss the laboratory studies and to check to see how my father was feeling. No other physician had ever done this for my father and Dad thought that this was remarkable. Dad was very comfortable with Dr. Scheib's care and knew that he was getting the best care available. Dad was grateful that he finally found a physician who really listened to him, examined him thoroughly and cared about his overall health and well being. Dr. Scheib's staff was very courteous and kind to my father and our entire family. Overall excellent physician and staff!

Dr. Scheib goes above and beyond in assessing, treating and caring for me as his patient. He quickly got to the bottom of my arthritis and kept me active for years in quality of life. Even now, when i developed cancer, he is there to assist in adjusting my medication and gives 110% to assist me in everyway possible.He is not like any other. HE CARES. Would trade off my whole oncology team for one like him. Doc Scheib is one in a million. If you want a highly skilled doctor that is truly a 'good person'...that is him.

In my mid twenties, I started having trouble turning door knobs, swelling, and pain in my hands. Doctor Sheib did a great job. He would not diagnose me with rheumatoid because he said I did not have that type. He ran lots of tests and did blood work. He was very aggressive in my treatment, and the arthritis went away quickly with the right medication. My arthritis went away after my first child, so I haven't been back. However, if it ever does come back, he is my doctor!
