I had my gallbladder removed yesterday by Dr. Stoltenberg. My family has known him personally for about 20 years and he has aleays been highly respectable. He removed my sisters about a year ago, and I was having some problems so I went in for a visit with him and he was extremely nice and helpful and told me it was up to me but that I would eventually need to have my gallbladder removed. I decided to make the appointment and went in early yesterday morning. I hadn't even been there 15 minutes and he had already come by my room to check on me and make sure I knew exactly what was going to happen and make sure I was comfortable and not nervous. The anastesiologist also came by to make sure I was comfortable and explained the procedure in detail. Everyone at Brenham hospital including the nursing staff were VERY helpful and did everything they could to make you comfortable. It is the day after my surgery and I am in minimal pain. He did a great job. After my surgery in the first recovery room he came to tell me that I did great and everything went routinely, then I fell back asleep. When I woke up in the second room he came to make sure I was comfortable. Also while I was in recovery one he went out to talk to my family to let them know everything was going great. I would highly recommend using Dr. Stoltenberg!
