Highly recommended. Really talks with you and not down at you. He and the staff are very professional and courteous (I liked Natalee, Kelly, and Dawn). Heart testing was completed in a timely manner and I was cleared for my surgery with my orthopedic. The knee replacement went without a hitch and I'm recovering.

Very professional and thorough. He also helped me reduce the cost of my medications by using less expensive alternatives. Will see him again in a few months and have him see my husband too.

I am a nurse and a patient of Dr. Trabb's. He also takes care of my father. My husband has seen both Dr. Lundergan and Dr. Bartoszyk. We feel that Dr. Trabb and all the Medstar Cardiac Associates doctors take great care of our family. In our local community, they are all well regarded as the best in the area by many patients and most of my nurse friends too! We are so happy that they have left their former practice (Dr. Bertele) and decided to open up their own offices here in Southern Maryland. This will only make cardiac care better for our area.

Dr. Trabb figured out that the pain in my chest was due to a nodule in my left breast. If it weren't for him, I would have never gotten early treatment for breast cancer. Great bedside manner and so easy to talk to. Nothing but thanks to him and his staff and Dr. Lundergan too. Great to see them after their move into the Cardiology Associates office.

I went to Dr. Trabb complaining of heart pain and shortness of breath. After an echocardiogram, stress test, and Holter monitor I was told everything looked normal. I was "written off" because I'm young, in great shape, and overall a very healthy person and my stress test was better than average. I was treated rudely after they supposedly couldn't find anything wrong. NO ONE EVER called me to tell be that my Holter monitor showed a second degree AV block, which can be very serious. I ended up very sick and in the ER. After my symptoms worsened I decided to pursue another avenue and found a different cardiologist. He quickly and ACCURATELY diagnosed me with a pericardial effusion (fluid around my heart) AND also found a "spongy" type mass on the tip of my heart which is where I was having a lot of pain. Thanks to Dr. Bertele I am feeling better and hopefully will be back to myself soon. I will never set foot in the Medstar cardiologists office again. Listen to your body and my advice don't go to Dr. Trabbs office.

Excellent doctor, but only specializes in cardiology. Very thorough. Listened to me and reassured me. He was genuinely concerned about how much I could afford. He doesn't like to order too many tests- if they aren't really necessary.
