Rude with no concern about making elderly patients wait for two Orr more hours by greedy overbooking. Awful attitude.

I received a specific explanation and description for my surgery which was achieved during the first surgery. During second surgery The quote of two hours from start to finish was exceeded by more than an hour. She had patient names hanging on the surgical machine over me which I could read and started surgery before I was fully anesthetized. She kept me waiting the day after surgery more than 2 hours prior to telling me I could leave. No empathy whatsoever.

Dr. Merritt left me sitting for over an hour once I was seated in an exam room. Once she came in and I complained she totally ignored me. When I said I was going to change doctors, she said go ahead. So I will.

Have been a patient of doctor Merritt's for 10 years. Had a contact stuck up in my eye and called office for a brief 3 minute appointment to look and remove the contact. Dr. Merritt was too busy. Always liked and respected Dr. Merritt. Guess my problem wasn't big enough.

I like Dr. Merritt but you have to ask yourself if waiting 2 hours on average is worth it...

Waited for ever in her office she had no bed side manner not nice at all

Had a 2:30 appointment. Was called in by technician at 2:10. Pupils displayed. Sat in exam room until 3:40. Found nurse, was told she was behind. So was I, my time is as valuable as the doctor. So I left and went home Poorly run all around.

Been patients for 10 years. ALWAYS have had to wait at least 1 hour in the waiting room. Today I left after 1 hr and 15 min with no explanation as to why I was waiting that long. So, I just left. No longer will be a patient there d/t this problem. Extremely frustrating.

Dr Merritt is extroadinary, knowledgable, compassionate and way above any opthmalogists I have ever experienced including Mass Eye and Ear clinic in Boston and Baskin Palmer in Miami. Dr Merritt is totally committed to her patients, very specific and thorough beyond and above .

Doctor is professional and knowledgeable The office is poorly run The wait time is long Perhaps they have too many patients Appointments are too hard to get and when you get them are impossible to change wait time is months

Had to wait three months for an appointment. No problem when you have lived with your problem for a long time. I didn't mind the wait. Did not wait more then ten mins. Staff was very efficient. Dr. Merritt very professional and patient with me, (I'm hearing impaired). She talked fast but clearly. Just had her slow down talking. I can understand that, she's very busy. She did take very good care of my problem and right now I'm testing temporary tear duct plugs to see if that will help with my problem. I liked her. She's very pleasant.
