Dr. Jennifer Lyn Sutherland, MD

Feel a bit rushed. She doesn't seem to listen to what you think may be going on but jumps to the standard diagnosis and prescribing medications. Am looking for another PC that will help me focus on causes and prevention rather than quick "fixes".

So surprise to see the negative opinions. I have more health issues than most people and outside of my Boston doctors I have not been able to find great doctors onthe North Shore until I came here. Most doctors tell me and don't listen to me. Dr. Sutherland listens and makes me part of my health care which is how I am treated in Boston. She doesn't hesitate to refer me to experts when she doesn't have the expertise to help me which is very honest and appreciated. The staff is always great with me and I'm very happy here!

My husband has been going to Dr.Sutherland for a few years now and all she does is see him once a month to give him pain medication..I have expressed to her my concern about some of his health issues Which she interned told me were none of my buisness and still continues to give drugs without really looking at the underline problem.I think she needs a few more years under her belt before she continues her practice.there are lots of Dr's going around giving patients meds.that are doing them more harm than good..when my husband first started to go to her he had a zest for life.Now his only Zest is to die and take pills everyday and she can't seem to pick up on any of this...good luck to anyone who is being treated by her..

This practice is awful. Dr. Sutherland is very kind and nice, when you finally get to meet with her. The wait takes forever every time - over 45 minutes! The office staff are the worst I've ever seen and are extremely rude on the phone. If you are expecting any sort of results from testing - forget it. Will take at least 10-15 calls / messages before they even consider entertaining your desperate, worried messages. All I can say is switching to a different office is one of the best things I've done and I couldn't be happier that I don't ever have to go back there!
