Cares about the well being of patients

She is one of the best Doctors around. Personal and straight to the point. She listens and her staff goes the extra mile. I like a direct doctor. I am having some health issues and she is trying figure them out. She did more for me in the 20 minutes then the ER did for me for 2 days. She is very respectful.

Dr. Takata takes all the time I need. I never feel rushed.

I have been seeing her for around five years and feel very disappointed in her level of care! Her exams are lacking and she does not follow up on things. I don't feel confident in her abilities, she refuses to go out of her way for you, does not think outside the box. She thinks she knows everything without doing the research to learn more. I had an excellent Dr before her so I just thought my expectations were too high, but decided it was time to move on. I do not recommend her especially if you have an uncommon chronic illness.

She is compassionate, direct, and astute. I have a serious condition and she knew to look for it in an area neglected by other MD's previously.

Dr. Takata listens carefully and is very sensitive in her approach to helping. I do not believe the two negative reviews posted here. I suspect they are from troubled patients or are listed for the wrong doc! Dr. Takata strikes a great balance between prevention, wellness and addressing medical problems in the most practical way. She is an outstanding resource in the community!

Do yourself a favor and choose a different doctor. If you go to her with any health problem, plan having your problem continue to get worse while she prescribes the wrong meds.

Dr Takata is one of those Doctors you seem to spend your whole life looking for and then after you find them, your left fretting they will move out of town. That said, Dr Takata has been my primary physician for (at least?) ten years. She is always prompt, very attentive and takes the time to explain things and answers all my questions, and while I don't know why I seem to contract all kinds of weird ailments, her diagnosis and treatment has always been spot on. What I like best about Dr Takata though, is that she works with me when I have a problem, instead of dictating to me. Wow, a doctor who treats you like a partner in your healthcare, instead of being just another number, now that's refreshing!

This doctor is not consistent with her patients. She confuses patients with other patients and is very moody. One visit she will be kind and patient while other times angry and attacking.

Dr Takata has always shown great concern during office visits. She has also been very helpful in guiding me to additional doctors/specialists.
