Amazing doctor

Dr. Toyohara is extremely caring and thorough in her work. Pleased to be her patient.

I took my son, who had severe acne, to see Dr. Toyohara. She looked at him from about 3 feet away - never even looked at his back or chest - and prescribed Accutane. Very friendly, but didn't go into much detail when I asked questions. For a first visit, I expect the dermatologist to give him a longer examination. One of our follow up visits was with a nurse practitioner, who, in addition to the nurse and another doctor, asked my son how much he weighs. I asked if they had a scale and they do not have one in the office.

This doctor was a know-it-all. It was a waste of money. She was rude and impatient with our questions. We felt disrespected. Will not return.

She is an extremely caring and compassionate doctor. She gives you as much time as you need, which is a rarity for a dermatologist. She puts her patients at ease. She is excellent in every way imaginable.
