Dr. Jerry Frank Sherrill, MD

I saw Dr. Sherrill today with my daughter who was the patient. He was kind and gentle. He kept us laughing with his silly neurology jokes and we were both very comfortable. He did a thorough examination, over an hour, himself, and then sent her for several tests to help with her diagnosis. We were very pleased with his care and highly recommend him to anyone who needs to see a neurologist.

This guy substitutes medical expertise with aweful time waisting comedy and will string you along. Dont put your life in danger by his incompentence. Stay Away. He is too lazy or superior to listen and is unwilling to work hard for the patient.

By far the worst Doctor I've ever seen. Does not listen to his patients, makes inappropriate jokes, pushes wrong diagnoses in order to benefit himself. I will never visit again, or recommend him to anyone. Don't waste your time.

This is by far the worst doctor I have ever had the misfortune of having seen. Workers comp doctor with deep pockets for the company that sends their victims to him so he can do his song and dance and twist everything you say into the best interest of his pay source. His attitude is terrible for the profession he has chosen. If you have a choice get an appointment somewhere else. If you don't have a choice, make sure you have a good attorney.

Dr Sherrill was the neurologist brought in for a consult after I was admitted to the hospital and all tests were coming back normal. He came in, quirky as ever, did his exam and while talking to me....cellphone rang and it was his wife calling him and he had to answer that. Then he ordered a sleep deprivation EEG which didn't happen because apparently he forgot to put the order in and kept me up for nothing and withhold all of my meds including anxiety medication. And 5hen basically decided on his own to do a rapid detox of all my meds with out consulting my Psychiatrist which he said that he knew.... so long story short.... after that and coming back into my hospital room and being completely rude to me and my mother.... he will never be my neurologist, ever!!!

Should have been a crap Comedian. Definitely doesn't need to be practicing medicine. Made inappropriate comments and jokes that were either insulting or that had no connection with why I was seeing this doctor. Would not discuss test results with me; preferred to make comments or jokes suggesting that I was an alcoholic, even after he was repeatedly told I DO NOT DRINK. Period! Made me feel that I was not important enough to deserve a diagnosis. Rude to my mother as well. Stay away!

Horrible! This man is a joke! He thinks he is funny and does NOT listen when you try to tell him what is going on. Saw my dad for Parkinson's. Had him over medicated and on the wrong medication to the point dad was having to use a walker and steadily getting worse. Got with another neurologist who actually treats Parkinson's. She got dad in physical and speech therapy. Within 2 months he is a different man. We know Parkinson's is not curable but it can and should be treated properly. RUN, RUN, RUN away for this man!

The nurse practitioner? spent an hour and half talking and less than 10 min. examining me. Dr. Sherrill came in for 5 minutes. Shined a light in my eyes, told a joke and left the room. I have cancelled my follow up appointment.

The staff was very friendly and prepped me for the procedure and Dr. Sherrill explained everything of what he was considering as my problem. He worked with me to figure out my pain

Dr. Sherrill was the first doctor to spend time with me order the tests that I needed to find out that I had cancer. I had been to 3 other doctors and none of them could find out what was wrong. He is a wonderful doctor, he spends time with his patients and listens to them!

My employer sent me to this doctor. He seemed concerned at first when he initially saw me. I had all but been refused medical attention by my employers workers comp claim so I had sought the advice and help of an attorney. I was sent to Dr Sherill hours from my home driving past other neurologists that were probably more qualified but I followed instruction and made every appointment with medication being changed almost every appointment and Dr Sherills poor trestment and total unprofessional behavior making remarks about me not trying and only after monetary gain since I had an attorney. I would tell him I only wanted to be back to normal, as I was before my injury. Due to his incorrect information that he provided, when I was able, I went to unbiased legitimate doctors that stated he had no idea what he was talking about which prolonged conditions that would have been corrected if diagnosed correctly instead of being covered up to reflect what was in the best interest of the workers compensation provider that clearly had Dr Sherill working in their best interests instead of a patient that needed his help.

Dr. Sherrill is a joke. He does not want you to ask any questions and acts offended if you do. He didn't even bother to look at the chart prior to coming in the room, so he had no idea what test he had sent me for or what the results were. At the end of the day he's just another pill pusher without properly diagnosing the problem. I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone. He needs to be in another profession.

Seen dr sherrill as a work comp patient. Never treated my injury , told me one diagnoses and then then gave a completely different one to the insurance company. The medical records I have from him are completely wrong from the day of my injury down to the meds I was taking before I seen him. He is not very sharp at his job nor should he even have a medical license!!!!!! If you seen him as a regular patient he may be different but for work injuries get an IME you will need it!!!!

My spouse was seen by this physician for a WC injury. He initially acted like he was concerned about my husband's injuries and even stated the injuries were related to the accident. Then after he discussed the case with the WC insurance carrier his office records stated the opposite of what he stated to us about my husband's condition. I have been in the medical field for over 18 years and I wouldn't recommend this physician to anyone unless you just want to see a doctor to over medicate you to mask your real diagnosis. Run from this doctor!!!!!!

Seen him as a workers comp patient. He works for the insurance companies. He doesn't listen to you or your problems . He only does what the insurance company wants. He led me to believe he was going to help me then threw me and my injuries aside to agree with the insurance company. This dr diagnosed me with something different everytime I went. He heavily medicated me for nothing. I had to go for an IME to get diagnosed and get help. When I finally got help from a Neuro surgeon I found out that I was taking four times the amount of medicine daily that I should be. Overall I would not recommend this Dr to anyone!!!!!!!
