This was my first appointment with Dr. Affonso. He was prompt for appointment time, familiar with my ortho history, and made me feel very comfortable during the time I was there. Answered all my questions, and have a future appointment to review the necessary treatment.

Dr. Affonso was recommended to me when it was time to address my shoulder pain. He was on time, listened, explained what was going on with my shoulder (in words I could understand), provided me with additional reading to explain things further and I feel I am on the road to recovery already. Dr. Affonso also has a friendly and professional staff. I believe I am in caring and capable hands with Dr. Affonso and his team.

Dr. Affonso and his PA Donovan are amazing! Shoulder replacement surgery went well and I cannot say enough positive things about my experiences with this practice. From reception, to x-ray, to meeting with Dr or PA, everyone has been so kind, positive, and helpful. If I ever need my other shoulder worked on, this is where I will go!

Dr. Affonso was Very Good I Have Seen Him a Couple of Times Very Good. Not In a Rush to do Surgery Trying Other Methods. And The Whole Office Is Very Professional and Wait Time is Never Long Tom Giardino

All the alternatives are always clearly laid out and fully explained so that the patient can make an informed decision. Dr. Affonso was great with my 8 year old! He had a great manner and my child felt very comfortable. He explained everything thoroughly to by myself and my child. I would highly recommend him.

Almost 2 years since my reverse shoulder implant surgery. I am in constant pain. I was told that being my age (58 at the time) I would heal quickly and be back to normal in a few months. Not so. Did 2 long rounds of PT and always do the exercises. I’m an artist/painter and it has greatly impacted my work. The pain is horrible and every day. If I knew this was going to be the outcome, I would never have done the surgery.

Very knowledgeable about shoulder issues. Great personality and patient focused. Willing to offer options as opposed to immediate surgery. I would definitely go back to him again and recommend him to anyone having shoulder issues.
