I am deeply grateful to Dr. Fiorelli and her team for the excellent care I received during pregnancy, labor and delivery and well as the postpartum period. Not only is Dr. Fiorelli a stellar physician, but she is also equally kind, compassionate and sensitive. I would recommend her to anyone with full confidence.

Confident, knowledgeable, controls/leads the room during delivery - you feel secure and in the best hands with her, every step of the way, from first appointment to giving birth. No fluff, just expertise. Always to the point, and on point!

I do NOT recommend Dr. Jessica Fiorelli. I saw her twice for prenatal care–she was great on the first video visit, but was extremely lacking in bedside manner during the in-person visit (she was a bit snarky). She was also uninformative. All she did was ask me what questions I had and took a quick look at the baby via ultrasound. This is my first pregnancy, so I have no idea what questions to ask. I left feeling like I knew nothing about what was going on with my body or my baby. Additionally, her office staff has been extremely frustrating to deal with. There was not once a time I called that I didn’t get hung up accidentally or placed on hold for over 15 minutes. I spent over 3 months trying to resolve a billing issue and finally gave up and paid the charges because I didn’t want it to go to collections. The staff person who said she would resolve the issue just stopped responding to me. A hospital billing representative told me that if Dr. Fiorelli had sent the lab work in question to the right lab, there would have been no charge for it. Her office staff person told me that patients have to request which lab their lab work gets sent to. I didn’t realize I needed to be a hospital billing expert to avoid overpaying for health services! You can find better care and a better experience elsewhere. Don’t settle and don’t trust your care with Dr. Fiorelli.

We were very disappointed in the care we received from Dr. Fiorelli. During a moment of great need in the second trimester, she dismissed our multiple urgent calls to her office relaying symptoms of bleeding and cramping, and passed a message that we did not need an in-person visit. When the situation became an emergency the next day, she did not come to the hospital. In the aftermath, she called and apologized, saying maybe she should have listened, and expressed regret at not having taken our initial calls more seriously. She seemed genuinely shaken, and promised the hospital would conduct a full review of what occurred. But by then it was too late.

This review is long overdue. I sincerely hope it will help someone else avoid the profound disappointment, anxiety, and discomfort I experienced with Dr. Fiorelli as my OB for my first pregnancy. I’ll start with the good. Dr. Fiorelli is not overly concerned with much, which can feel comforting for someone like myself who has gone through serious medical issues in the past. She is also very knowledgeable. Personality-wise, she is funny and blunt. This works for me in a friend, but not in a doctor. Dr. Fiorelli seemed like someone I clicked with and could work with, but that started to change pretty early in my pregnancy. She was too blunt, often dismissed my concerns, and wouldn’t give me straight answers. I felt annoying for having questions and concerns, meanwhile I almost never called in-between appointments. She was consistently nicer to me when my husband was there, too. When I mentioned that I might hire a doula, she got angry and defensive. I didn’t feel respected or heard by her, and appointments eventually became very anxiety-provoking. I wish I had had another OB and have learned my lesson for whenever I decide to have another child.

She seemed to be in a very poor mood. We needed to make a medical decision. Rather than providing guidance, she made me feel poorly about myself.

Literally the kindest physician I have met in a long time. Clearly intelligent, really thorough service, rapid care, and just a good all-around person. I cannot wait till she is my future OB.

Dr. Fiorelli was the best doctor could have hoped for to help through my pregnancy and delivery. She was always attentive to my needs and questions. She made my delivery an easy, joyous and smooth experience. I would recommend her highly and without question to anyone seeking a kind and highly skilled professional to guide them through pregnancy and birth.

Always at ease with her during my pregnancy, any complications, and questions! I had an easy delivery and will continue to go to her for check ups and any future pregnancies.

I am frankly surprised to read the negative reviews. I went through a miscarriage last year and she was kind, attententive, professional and considerate. She made what was an awful experience bearable. I felt I was in good hands and was treated with compassion and respect.

Dr Fiorelli is calm, collected and very direct. She's honest and she is very confident and her diagnosis, in my opinion, is spot on. I was diagnosed an "issue" through a prior miscarriage. She was pretty certain it was a non-issue/misdiagnosis. But she monitored me very carefully and we took all of the precautions necessary. She is super responsive and calls you back immediately. I delivered a healthy baby last year (phew!) and although she wasn't on call that day ... she came to see me the following day (with her son in tow because she was out running errands). She came to see me at the hospital in New York City with her son ON HER DAY OFF. (I wanted to write the entire statement in all caps because I am screaming it). So not only is she a doctor but she's also a human being who truly cares about her patients. I guess two of us are going to grow old together because I am never going to another OB for as long as I live!

After some bad experiences with doctors I have learned to read reviews before I try a new one. I originally tried to get an appointment with one of Dr. Fiorelli's colleagues last year who had slightly better reviews online. She was booked so I was offered Dr. Fiorelli. I was nervous but figured I'd give her a shot. She was excellent. I just went for my yearly exam and since I was a new patient we met first to talk and go over things in her office before the exam. She was warm and made me feel comfortable. She was open to answering my questions and offering advice. She took her time to put me at ease and I would definitely recommend her to friends and family. It takes a lot for me to like a doctor but she has definitely become a trusted doctor for me. I saw her for a second time recently also for a yearly exam and she was just as warm and patient. I cannot speak to the pregnancy side of her care but for a regular Gyn, she is definitely great.

One of the best OBGYN's I've ever had!!

Sigh... Where do I start. She is fine to see for your regular check up but not when you are pregnant. My first appointment went well but after that was down hill. I wish I had read the reviews before I started this journey with her. During my visits I would tell her I could feel the baby kicking at 14 weeks and she would rudely say, that's impossible. My entire family felt their babies kick at the same time in their pregnancy. Dr. F just wouldn't listen. When I would ask questions she would cut me off over and over brushing off any concerns I had. The research department came in and tested me for a project they had which I ended up testing positive for. Dr. F never called me, the research chick who looked 12 gave me the news and said my baby may be blind and deaf wrong with a whole list of other issues. I called Dr. F over and over and she finally called me back. when I asked her why didn't she call me to give me the news, she said it wasn't really her problem because research(who is in her office) had taken the blood. I ended up testing again and the original test was a false positive. Another issue I had at 13 weeks, I started to bleed and had to go to the ER. I was freaked. I couldn't get a hold of her and finally after an hour someone from the office called me. I told them I was in the ER and they said, oh then you don't need us and hung up. Just like that. Dr. F never called to see how I was or if the baby was ok. There were so many other issues but I'm sure you can see my point. The consistency of "not my problem" and "brushing me off" led me to change my Dr. at 7 months. It was crazy. I just never went back to her office and no one ever called to see if I was ok or coming back. They honestly don't care about their patients. I never complained to her or her office so I wasn't an annoying patient either. I learned my lesson to never see a Dr. without reading reviews. I am not one to leave negative reviews but felt that if something went wrong with my pregnancy, I did not have the confidence Dr. F would give me the best care possible. I truly feel my first pregnancy was not a positive experience because of her. I ended up having an Emergancy C section at 37 weeks. The baby was perfectly healthy and my new Dr. was AMAZING! I hope no one has to go through what I did. It was just awful.

She is a lovely person, but, her professional manner needs improving. She does not return test or sonogram results, unless asked, and then you're lucky to get a two word response. She racks up bills with little to no explanation. She spends a few minutes, at best, on the visit, on one occasion, her entire input consisted of asking me if I had any questions, she did nothing else. Her office did not have a vaccine (DTAP) recommended for pregnant women, I had to her it elsewhere. Disappointing, but I feel with a lot of potential to improve.
